IllegallySane Wrote:Okay, so I tried +30% population, x20 HP Link 3. In about 26 minutes I gained at least 80%, at level 162. THIS TRAINING IS AMAZING! It's like RLH but FREE and FASTER!

I have x20 HP and 100% spawn rate cores waiting for the next x2 exp and drop event.

On normal HP I get about 5000 exp per kill in Link 3. with HPx5 I get 10k exp per kill. I'm assuming that x20 is double again, and therefore 20k exp per kill.
Then I would have 2x exp from the event, and 2x exp from a coupon. so that would be 80k exp per kill. then 30% from Kanna's Monkey Spirits, thats 24k. So 104k.
THEN we have Elven Blessing 10% + Pendant of the Spirit 30% and Extreme Gold Potion 10%. that's an extra 50% exp on top of that.

So I'd be getting 156k exp per kill in Link 3. With increased spawn rate, AND increased spawn amounts because of Kishin Shoukan.

Insane levelling.

Would be even more insane in Dimension invade, if I could actually train there Sad

You'll get 27,685 with a 1900% HP core with level 160 mobs. I've seen it so many times, I haven't ever been to link 9 with 20x HP cores inserted, I wonder if it's any good? They gave me like 149k EXP at only 10x HP.

That's assuming you can make your way into the Evolving World at all. I couldn't get in at 2X.

Patch Feedback Thread - Kubi - 2013-04-14

The mobs in Link 9 gives 10x more exp than the regular mobs in Evolving World, but has more HP as well.
They're comparable to LHC and even HoH mobs with HP x 1900 cores. The only thing annoying is that they constantly stun. Only status resistances can protect you from them as I've gotten stunned under smokescreen/barrier and being missed. Link 3 would still be better if you can't handle those constant stuns.

The knights seems to be the same thing as the real ones, but minus the physical resistance. Has ~2B of HP on default and Irena hits me for 6k-7k with water shield up, so about ~10-11k without. Keep in mind that cores affect them too, so putting in 100% monster population or HP + 1900% will make it more difficult to kill the knight, if you don't mind it. But yeah, the knights you summon in EW can drop their respective pre-made empress class equipment, including the cape. I managed to get a Falcon Wing Cape from a Fabricated Irena with 50% Drop rate + big spider familiar out, and that being my third attempt.

It's not that hard to farm coins and summon more knights, but is it possible for the knights to drop more than one equipment per run?

Paladins' Hyper Skill blocks it. Then again, that hyper skill blocks everything.

Except DR.

Of course DR isn't an actual attack from a monster.

It doesn't? I could have sworn it did when I was fighting the Dimensional Invade boss.

Unless it was very recently changed, Sancrosanctity blocks DR as well. There's been videos of Paladins attacking DR with their "Godmode" and not taking DR damage to the face.

The Paladin in this video spams ACB on Chaos Pink Bean and doesn't take any damage from his DR.
Maybe Empress DR works differently, but we'd need someone to test this.

Very strange. If anything, that video would make it seem as though Sacrosanctity makes you basically take 0 damage from any source so you will never die... so how on earth did he die?

So the golden bell thing has started, getting jewels is quite easy. the rings and belts for crafting are harder to come by though.

When you use the bell one of 4 monsters spawn, a different rock creature depending on the kind of Jewel it drops. Looks like it always drops Jewel Synergisers, and has a chance of dropping a Jewel Box.

Sometimes you can rarely spawn a Black Leviathan, killing that pretty much showers the floor with loot. All kinds of gems (up to A rank i think) Jewel Craft belts and rings (I got a 2 M.ATT bonus potential Jewel ring frame, QQ) and a bunch of scrolls which seem to be the same as the ones you can get from the Secret Boxes.

I was under the impression these were going to drop Stepping Pop coins too, but I haven't found a single one yet. Considering that the items in the shop cost about 50 coins each, the fact I've gotten only 2 coins from an hour of playing is a bit meh. especially since the shop changes every 2 hours.

I killed four such black leviathans and got absolutely squat, even with my big spider familiar out. In fact none of what I summoned dropped anything. Wonder why that is.

Paging Razmos;. I suspect the drop penalty applies but he might be able to give you an answer.

I agree with Curtiss;, it's probably the drop penalty. Hunt bells from mobs 150+.
I have had the same experience as Razmos, with bells found at Oblivion 5 and at Mutant Snails.

That's weird. Were the enemies you got the bell from within your level range?

I've been at future Henesys on my level 171 Kanna and i'm getting drops from every single one.

Patch Feedback Thread - Curtiss - 2013-04-17

It's got to be the drop penalty then since level 150+ mobs aren't affected by it. Rolleyes

Patch Feedback Thread - Razmos - 2013-04-17

Black Leviathan monster just dropped a single Stepping Pop coin.

This Jewel Craft thing is so luck based, I hate it.
The bells themselves are fairly rare, they have a chance of summoning the monster you want, with a rare chance of summoning a rare monster, they all drop random levels of jewels and possibly items. The one thing not random is getting Synergisers, which have a chance to make jewels go DOWN a rank and a very low chance of increasing rank.
The base equips you require only have a rare chance of dropping from a rare enemy which is only spawned rarely by a rare item. And then once you finally get an S-rank jewel (the chance is incredibly damn low) you have a high chance of the crafting failing and giving you powder, which you need 10 of to get one random box, considering you need a base ring or belt for every attempt means this will take forever.

If by chance your ring DOES get crafted, it can be underaverage. And then we have the Jewel Craft specific scrolls which have a low chance of success and 100% chance of destroying your hard earned item.

The hours and hours of effort involved to make one of these items just makes it not worth it at all. You are constantly screwed over by how random the system is.

Patch Feedback Thread - MetaSeraphim - 2013-04-17

I hope Stepping Pop coins aren't really that rare. I missed the Hot Time hats on my Demon Slayer, Phantom and Jett and was really hoping to get them for them during this event.

Along with that mount and maybesome extra hot time hats for my main-main.
