I remember when potential first arrived and the equip drop rate was incredible, to compensate they lowered the equipments value at shops. I kinda feel that same trend is about to come into play.

Well they have already said drops will be increased by 5-10 times and they have also lowered the price of eqiups in shops...

Max mentioned the drop rate on his blog. I saw something about the shop prices lowered by someone who did a patch note translation somewhere here.
