Plus the huge buff from being in Eagle Eye state which does stack with attack potions. Add on the criticals 120-150% and that result seems to fit. And yeah i understand what you mean but thats a mob skill, they're ment to be incredibly strong, if hurricane did that we'd break the 4th wall or something. Well, I see 공격력 and 40, so I assume it's a 40 attack buff... or it's an attack buff that lasts 40 minutes, but I don't know Korean, so yeah. If you leave Night Lords just like this, it's like saying "Good luck on that, there's a class that does your stuff better, deadlier, and with more." I don't know about the bandit branch, never played it, but NLs need a huge tweak. Well, they needed it long before this update anyway. They've been a mediocre 4th job class before BigBang (high damage doesn't make it a good class), they've went to below mediocre after BigBang, and without any updates/upgrades to it, NL's will stay garbage. Shadowers, on the other hand, probably don't need much of an update. I just hope Nexon doesn't do something stupid like only give NL's Quadra Throw or some crap and call it a day.

[1.2.381] The Wind - 0^2 - 2011-05-23 I had an amusing thought. Nightlord's Ninja Ambush gets turned into an ultimate that expends 100 stars, striking 15 mobs many times. Sure as hell beats whatever effect it does now. Ninja Storm could hold mobs in place with tornadoes instead of merely pushing them away. @ above It'll totally be called Tetra Throw so you could still call the main move TT.

As far as NL's, I really really find it hard to be sympathetic to the plight of NL's. When I go on pb runs, the NL's (normally 3) ALL do more damage than any of the ranged or warrior classes. Those three nl's probably do near or better than the damage of the rest of us combined. If it was just one, i'd say he's a godly funded fluke. Two? Godly funded flukes probably. But three? It's getting too common. And those are just the ones I PB with. I'm not even addressing the nl's I see on the street or at guard ani or any of those things. NL's seem quite potent as they are now and I find it hard to get on board for some large overhaul like Archers, and especially BM's just got, which was desperately needed because of how effective NL's are currently. Dizzy, I don't agree with your views often times, but your comics are AMAZING! Just wanted to say that. As for high damage not making a good class, what exactly are you looking for? A more dynamic class? Pick one. A dynamic AND very heavy hitting class? I thought you were talking about balance, which is not what a class is that is both dynamic and heavy hitting (comparatively speaking). I really don't know how any of you NL's can say that your class is garbage. If you had my gear with my % and an equivalent total attack, you could easily KS me, same gear. How can you say your class is bad?! [1.2.381] The Wind - ShanghaiDizzy - 2011-05-23 I don't care for damage (and Night Lords are amongst the bottom for DPS). Nor do I really care for it to be ultra dynamic. However, when nearly all but a few of a 4th job class's skills are useless, I'm willing to say the class is garbage. The ones you happen to PB with are most likely funded up the wazoo which only adds to the illusion that NL's are strong. Shadowers are also much stronger than NL's. Your Shadower friend with 60k range is probably either a liar or purposely gimping himself if you're outdamaging him. Also, I want to say that being able to KS another class doesn't mean that the KS-ing class is better than the KS'd class. |
