I like saying Fuzzbuns now.

If you think about, Felix probably named Fuzzbuns that...

How old is Fuzzbuns anyway? Is he like, older than time itself? Because if Felix named it something that crazy, he must have been pretty young.

I'm a little disappointed with how the characters turned out. Melanie and Felix both seemed like really cool characters at first and I was kind of hoping for an interesting relationship between the two but thanks to the voices they got all cutesy couply and lame. Must know more about Felix's mother too

They may seem all cutesy and couply, but we've already seen that anything too risky will frighten Melanie... and if she'll only stand so much of that.

What I'm trying to say is... If we're too suicidal, Melanie's gonna dump his ass.

Dusk's post kind of surprised me because that's what I'd been thinking. lol I started to realize how overload on the cutesy they were getting too. It's part of the reason I hit that slump where I wasn't as satisfied as I had been with my writing. Been waiting for the right time to work on the serious aspect of their relationship. Melanie's a flaky character by design, but she's smart and serious too. I've hinted a few times about what happened to cause their friendship to split, and I plan to build on that more soon. Of course, I also stated the voices will eventually influence Felix's character...so I took that into account with making him grow closer to Melanie more quickly.

I dunno. I agree I'm not completely satisfied either, which is why I'll be changing it up some. More so I was doing it for a sense of comic relief in a way and as a contrast to the darker aspects around them. Of course, after what's happened to them now, it would be hard to believe either could be so light-hearted. Melanie wants to be strong, so she reacts overly "cutesy" to try hiding her pain. Felix likewise. I wanted to make that apparent in this entry and begin tearing down the facade.

Melanie's WAY too attached to Felix (see her profile) to ever dump him. You guys already made her a major player in the story, so I'm not getting rid of her so easily. I don't foresee myself getting to a point where Felix is hitting up sluts and cheating on her or abusing her. And she's not that fragile. Think of what she just went through. Plus, I'm beginning to deal with strengthening them past this ordeal anyway.

And LOL @ all you guys choosing Crystal Waters because I've listed it a few times. I promise I won't kill off the LAKE. I SWEAR. Goodness. hahaha lol XBish.

Oh oh, and I love you guys for loving Fuzzbuns. lol FYI, I call my cat in real life Fuzzbuns, which is where that came from. <3 It's not a stupid name! It's cute!

Felix and Patrick head to the bathroom. "Joe, it's alright to come out. Everything is fine now," Felix calls out. The stall door opens and Joe comes out, holding an unconscious Tom. "Well I'll be damned," Patrick cracks a smile. "Thanks for your help, Joe. I'll call you later," Felix says. "No problem man. What are friends for, right?" Joseph smiles. They pour water on Tom's face and slap him around a bit until he comes to. "What just happened..." Tom manages to say, still a bit dizzy. "You got your ass kicked," Patrick responds; "Felix is with us now. We have to get going." Tom and Patrick leave the bathroom and head for the car. Felix says to Joseph on his way out, "I owe you one. I'll call you later."
