How was your day? - Panacea - 2012-11-07

Have you ever considered that you're making things out to be things they're not because it's what YOU want?

He literally just broke up with his boyfriend and you ask him on a date. That's a pretty big red flag there. Sure, you were there for him, but you had other an ulterior motive to do so. Not saying you wouldn't have been there for him if you weren't attracted to him, but it's pretty obvious what your intentions were.

Give him space. Be a friend. Dan's already mentioned it, but I'll mention it again: be wary, for even if it all works out and you two end up a couple, you may find yourself just being a rebound and I think that's going to hurt more in the long run for both of you.

I've tried to stay out of this for as long as I can to see if you'd figure it out on your own, but you're doing something similar to what I've experienced in the past and I'm honestly tired of watching you flounder about. Get mad or whatever, I don't really care. Consider it tough love.

Razmos Wrote:Well it was either friendzone myself or be an insensitive plantain trying to move in on him when he needed a friend. He still hasn't said he doesn't like me, just that he likes things the way they are. I'm going to give him some time to think things through and then I'll get us to talk about this.

Maybe it was just too soon, but he said he was over it, plus he was purposefully trying to make me jealous by considering experimenting with a french girl, or mentioning a guy in Sweden that he wants to go out with, people were flirting with him all over the damn place and I didn't want to miss my chance with him now, especially since he was actually being quite flirty, and we were spending nearly all of our time together in increasingly sweet ways.

I just don't pineappleing get it.

I kind of disagree with pancake, the thing is, the temptation has always been there, and it's been what 2 months, during previous relationship? In a different light you did do the right thing. You put it out there, now you just have to explain yourself in a legitimate way. Explain your frustrations and that the friendship is in fact more important to you than banging him. The chemistry is clearly there and you became anxious. That's all. Relationship's start with friendships.

Give him time to cool off, tell him you want to talk, apologize, calmly and just explain that frustration that you explain to us. Minus the whole genocide part. I'm pretty skeptical of the whole "Rebound" thing because this has been going on for longer than "omg we just broke up". But hey, play your cards how you see them, you put it out there, explain you understand your inconsiderate request but your diciplined enough to essentially over look those feelings to be that someone for him to talk too. Something corny like that.

Getting my life back to normal after 6-7 months of interning on two campaigns (one congressional campaign back home, and a U.S. Senate campaign in Massachusetts). And my candidate's victory last night was simply beyond glorious. Hard work sure pays off with the rich, delicious taste of victory. Biggrin

Razmos, boys are evil don't love them follow the queen Donna Meagle's words of wisdom; "use him abuse him and lose him."

OT: Went to work, trained the new lady in floral, she's nice but I'm too critical I guess but she's adjusting well, then went to school and wanted to crey again because hot boys ruin my life.

Day went swimmingly. Bossed my last exam of the year and found out I'm getting a promotion at work.

The project that my film teacher told every group to record was swapped with another group so we could edit the into our perspectives.

I HAD SO MUCH IDEAS FOR OUR FILM THOUGH! Frown

A whole lot of doing nothing and suddenly, six hundred words on the applied principle of gamification for what I think is supposed to be simple homework. I just hope I'm that productive for my final paper without all of the screwing around I did prior or I'm going to have to apply my own principle of working and ban myself off Google Chrome and use the terror that's IE until I'm done with this paper. Tongue

How was your day? - icephoenix21 - 2012-11-08

Better day today than the previous two have been ( locking my keys in my car and getting a $238 ticket Tongue).
9 more tues/thursday classes until the semester is over, not counting finals.

I miss home a lot, as crappy as it is...at least there's a Starbucks there. I want a salted caramel mocha so bad, dammit.
Time's going by fast because of my temp job, and I'm pretty content with that, aside from being tired all the time.
Living on-campus really isn't my forte. I find most of the kids here obnoxiously loud, annoying, and immature.

Also~ working out flight details for spring break, I'm excited! Biggrin

Worked truck today, a man came in a placed a bigggggggggg wreathe order. A big massive 60in wreathe for his gate, no budget, estimated to be $300+. Then I came home and slept the rest of the day.

Well, my school is looking into why we're playing Yu-Gi-Oh so suddenly, and they assume it's breaking a rule. So now they're preventing us from playing it.
...What harm does a Children's card game even have? So now we have a petition for them to not look into it.

It was great, despite being sick. Was planning on skipping school because I wasn't feeling ok but with a little effort I went, had to do a presentation that's 20% of the final.
I was expecting the teacher to correct all my pronunciation mistakes but the topic I chose was so interesting he couldn't focus on what he was supposed to.
And, since I wasn't feeling ok, he let me go after my presentation. I love my phonetics teacher.

Grandma's hip popped out the third time in the last month. She's had 3 surgies to get a replacement, and..well at this point she may have to get a bone marrow transplant or something. Which at 7x is like 80% death >_>;

SO NOT THAT GREAT AT ALL.

How was your day? - Razmos - 2012-11-09

Had some work to do for today, left it until the last minute, so I was literally running around campus to get it all done in time for my tutorial. Got it all done, got there on time, contributed to the discussion, handed in my work. Great!

Wait, there was an essay to do? pomegranate.

She gave me today and tomorrow at the latest to get it finished. thing is, i hadn't started it. So I then spent about 4 hours in the library doing this essay, which I rather enjoyed actually, it was a 2000 word essay on Rationality and Religion, which was interesting mix of Theology, Philosophy, Sociology and Anthropology. Really happy to have gotten it done so quickly, since my friends pulled an all nighter to get theirs finished.
