And wondering if Mechs get any changes o3o BB~ [1.2.378] Magicians in Jump - Shidoshi - 2011-04-16 ScherzoDeLuce Wrote:Mist Explosion have cooldown anyway. even if you can deal 999,999 per hit, 3m dmg every 10 sec isn't that imba. mech still deal much better dmg than that. Their normal bossing skill is already good. Mist Explosion is just a burst every 10 seconds, a strong burst. From the monster park vid, F/P can stack multiple mists but it only counts as one with eruption? I smell nerf or longer cooldown for eruption. [1.2.378] Magicians in Jump - Sonic - 2011-04-16 Just to let you guys know... Currently in the test server they are giving cubes away for free~ So the damage you see is probably of highest potential stats~ [1.2.378] Magicians in Jump - Shidoshi - 2011-04-16 Sonic Wrote:Just to let you guys know... Currently in the test server they are giving cubes away for free~I'm not really looking at exact damages done in videos. I'm more interested in theoretical calculations of %DPS, that's what matters to compare a class. [1.2.378] Magicians in Jump - Ęxøđųş - 2011-04-16 Shidoshi Wrote:This. Mages got so many power boosts =D Mist = Semi-gas & liquid, therefore the monocules can still rub on each other to produce heat, just like an oven. But it's a magic skill in a 2-D game, so meh. [1.2.378] Magicians in Jump - Bribery - 2011-04-16 After seeing Mist Explosion in action, Glacial Chain really needs a lot of work... They should give it an additional bossing effect. Freeze/stun should also be revamped to at least do *something* on bosses. [1.2.378] Magicians in Jump - Abysseon - 2011-04-16 Pythagoras Wrote:yeah, or else u will see 18 floors of damage. I would rather for them to buff I/L, bishops, and a few more F/P skills some more before any nerfs. I/L are basically the same from chaos in regards to bossing... Sonic Wrote:Just to let you guys know... Currently in the test server they are giving cubes away for free~ I doubt it: ![]() The stats from the vids are hardly potentialed compared to other high end gear. [1.2.378] Magicians in Jump - Shidoshi - 2011-04-16 shagreen heart Wrote:well, i'm not gonna read through the whole thread, but i just wanted to ask: Among mages, F/P is awesome, I/L needs some work since their skills don't have as much use as F/P's, Bishops are WAY BELOW. Considering other classes... Well, that's a hard one because you can't really compare to other classes who haven't recieved the Jump update yet. [1.2.378] Magicians in Jump - shagreen heart - 2011-04-16 yeah, i just don't see the use of glacial chains when you have CL that flipping flies through everything on your visible map frying them. [1.2.378] Magicians in Jump - donovan - 2011-04-16 shagreen heart Wrote:yeah, i just don't see the use of glacial chains when you have CL that flipping flies through everything on your visible map frying them. Freeze/DoT/Teleport Mastery/Elquines. [1.2.378] Magicians in Jump - Abysseon - 2011-04-16 donovan Wrote:Freeze/DoT/Teleport Mastery/Elquines. I/L vids only leave the skill at level 1 compared to Mist Eruption which F/P max early and that's just poor game design on nexon's end. Chain Lightning has superior range due to the 'chain' effect as well as a 90% stun chance for use with Extreme Magic. Only use I see for it currently is saving pots while training. Glacial chain will most likely be fixed though. True, its not useless but my point was that you can pretty much get its max benefit at level 1 and most of the positives you described can be solved with spamming chain lightning (stun=freeze) or just teleporting to the target. As for the DoT, 90% isn't worth maxing over other skills until late game. [1.2.378] Magicians in Jump - Chilly - 2011-04-16 5th faceless post in a row? If they really wanted to give L/Is a Monster Magnet effect, they probably could have done so with the attack that already had "Chain" in it. This brings up problems with multi-(tiered)-platforms but a whole new skill that as Abysseon has pointed out is fully functional at level one seems rather like filler for me. I'm approaching the point where I'd trade any freezing attribute for any skill in 4th job (and possibly earlier) for more damage, I just don't see that mechanism very useful in the game anymore. Especially since with a combination of TM and CL everything that needs to be stopped or can be stopped, is stopped. Lastly, I have a suspicion that Glacial Chain is not going to change at all. We're pretty much where we're going to end up. A few unexceptional tweaks in percentages and done. Hoping to be proven wrong... [1.2.378] Magicians in Jump - Takebacker - 2011-04-16 XD arcane ames can be dispelled. That sucks. [1.2.378] Magicians in Jump - byakugan - 2011-04-16 They need to make freezing work on bosses, at least the way snow charge puts monster in a snow state. Then EXtreme magic would take that as regular freeze and activate the bonus. Also increase the DoT on Glacial Chain by a lot. |
