Kasuhitomi Wrote:They made Dark elemental sounds like it's Dark-Magic in the storyline, but that doesn't mean it has to be. They can alter it very easily, just by changing a few simple words in-game. At this point in time, it seems like Dark-elemental is quite limited. Also, if Dark-elemental spells is so restricted (as everyone is making it sound), here is a good point, why does the Cygnus Thief have dark-elemental skills? . . . .
They won't even fix spelling and grammar mistakes, you expect them to rework everything? XD

But yeah, Cygnus draw their power from the sprite. All their "elemental" abilities originate from the sprite, even Ereb is floating because of the sprites. The new screen where you pick Cygnus or "Adventurer" in KMST now is referred to as the "Race Select" screen in the data, so if you want you can consider Cygnus a separate race, their defining characteristic being bonded to a Sprite.

If they wanted, then, they could claim that the Black Magician disciples are another race, in the same regard, and that this particular race is immune to the negative effects of Dark Magic. (think Dark Elves in other games). It's not out of the question, but it's not going to be a normal thing either.

I remeber seeing a guide with said that panic does contribute dark power which made it weaker if you use it on something like a dark yeti.
Honestly though, I don't think it really does xD.

i don't think thats "dark" it's casting darkness i think?

Panic doesn't do anything besides neutral damage, though.

i thought it put the monster into the darkness state, AKA lowered the accuracy. it's probably just bad wording
