Wikipedia is more reliable than some of the earlier books written on space/time, other than Stephen Hawking.

I was gonna post an image macro with the text "LARGE HARDON COLLIDOR" with two dicks in the tunnel and stuff, but I refrained from doing so.
Really though, this is either going to kill us all or give us hardly any information on how the universe existed. Either way it seems pretty much seems like something I'd rather not see happen; if something's radically proven (something like how the universe came to be), people with believes (muslims and christians) will go batshit insane towards most folks and that'll kill us passively over time. I'd rather just get sucked into some black hole...
Actually, I'd rather not have anything happen. But, yeah.

Everytime you post something on Wikipedia you can choose to let other people edit it, or not.
Thats why informations like this are reliable. Things such as country information, scientific achievements, mathematics, they are all reliable. Now, a game like gunbound, if softnyx itself doesnt post the article I believe the writer will let the article open for edits since the game will continue to improve and make changes.

I recently found an article in the Discover magazine on this very subject.
Can we be sure that a black created at the LHC wouldn't expand and swallow the Earth?
I think the honest answer to this question is yes. The black holes that would be produced at the LHC must also be produced by the hundreds every day due to energetic cosmic rays bombarding our earth. When the cosmic rays smash into particles of earth material, it;s the same type of collision that happens in the LHC. So the very fact that we exist here on earth to talk about these things tells us that even if black holes are produced, pretty much everything is very safe. Either black holes are not produced at all, or they decay very, very quickly due to the Hawking radiation or an equivalent mechanism.

Yeah, I don't quite understand the physics behind the mini-black holes, I haven't done that advanced physics yet, but I fail to see how they could possibly destroy the earth. They simply wouldn't be large enough. Gravitational force depends on mass, not density, and even if they were super-dense, they wouldn't have the mass to destroy anything not superly close to them, which, in the LHC, will be nothing.

If my memory serves me right, if the Hawking radiation theory is correct, micro blackholes are expected to evaporate fairly fast (less than a nanosecond).
And as a matter of fact, the 'supporting' side is also correct in their statement. Being 'sucked' in by a blackhole won't cause any kind of feeling in the first person's view, only the gravitational time dilation happens to approach infinity from 3rd person's view, e.g: a clock passing a blackhole's event horizon would move slower and slower, approaching infinitely small speed. That, however, doesn't mean there is no threat xP
Smaller-scaled blackholes have a tendency to cause spaghettification much sooner than larger ones, thus becoming more dangerous.

Blackholes are capable of growing by absorbing additional matter such as cosmic dust, cosmic microwave background radiation. Though insignificant, the growth poses a great threat if left unattended. Then again, it requires a diameter larger than a tenth of a millimeter in order not to shrink in a blink of an eye, so probably not many micro blackholes caused by the LHC can survive to become a villain. xP
Not to mention that the 'food' most likely ain't available within the LHC o_O

It was specifically stated that if a black hole were to be created, something extremely unlikely in itself, it would last for an extremely short amount of time and it would destroy itself. The chance of a black hole forming from this machine that is capable of destroying the Earth is almost nonexistent.
