I was watching that on insoya. ItÂ’s funny when it summons the mini crogs.
It probably seems overly easy because the people fighting it are most likely over levelled for it. Anyone else notice the little GUI from the dojo in the corner? What is it used for in this boss fight?

Isn't it supposed to be a boss for lower levels? Considering that those are fourth job players there (even though it IS Tespia with horrible equips), it should be harder for levels 70 - 100, or whatever the level range is for the boss.

I've seen the reason for that heavy damage...
Damage reflection. See the icon over his head? nobody was expecting that. Everyone just wanted to kill it fast, even the bishop. So, the last part of the fight seems to be a quite careful process.

It may be weak, but it surely looks powerful. And, in a small part, it is. Not so easy as it seems. Remember it's Tespia.

Hmmmm I would have liked a new non-stationary boss with 50k knockback for once... but ok... it looks nice...
Btw, I saw zombify, so I guess it's not wise to party any bish/priest here (not like you need it lol).
Edit: Hmmm yeah that 8500 dmg has to be damage reflection indeed! Finally a use for smokescreen? :+)

Damage reflection misses on you on smokescreen? I didn't know that.
Anyways, on a side note, this looks like the kind of boss soloable like papulatus, only reachable by more people...

I always thought that the Balrogs would come back to MS as the allies of the Black Magician. Maybe a new Island ruled by a king balrog and full of trainable spots with balrogs of all kind (flying, small, big, etc) and maybe a great party quest in the center of it for what have been be the last boss battle before the black magician itself. Now they bring back that idea but making a low lvl party quest, which kill all my hopes for that idea
. I think it looks too great for just that small PQ.

So I assume it also works here, unless nexon really hates Shadowers to the extreme and made extra program code so you could still die inside smokescreen with reflection... :o

I always wanted them to make a Big Boss Balrog.
When Crimson Balrog was the highest level monster in game, I always looked at him as the main boss.
But then we started getting stronger bosses.
I like it now that they finally made Balrog Soul. He looks cool.
