kMS patch on Monster Carnival 2 - Stereo - 2009-01-21 if you posted a screenshot, I'd believe there's 3 stat Spiegelmann Necklaces... kMS patch on Monster Carnival 2 - tzk221 - 2009-01-21 fnatic Wrote:However, in tespia, there is a 2/3/1/1/2/0/27/27 spiegelman's necklace of chaos on sale that is white+1/+2/0/0/+1/-1/-1/-1 4 - 3= +1 = white kMS patch on Monster Carnival 2 - fnatic - 2009-01-21 I'm not sure.. but I don't whether know if all stat +2 is the normal option or all stat +1 is the normal option. When using minerva's owl - it appears as +2 but when putting your mouse in the PQ, it appears as +1. Whether it's a bug or something like the pink been situation kMS patch on Monster Carnival 2 - Lozmaster - 2009-01-21 This is still tespia right? It's been changed twice already, I'm sure it'll be balanced before it gets released, because anyone can see that horntail is...significantly harder than CPQ. kMS patch on Monster Carnival 2 - JoeTang - 2009-01-21 Lozmaster Wrote:This is still tespia right? They're trying to balance the differences because there's a significant gap in quality between Horntail Necklaces and Spiegalman's/Horus's. kMS patch on Monster Carnival 2 - NoWaizMatt - 2009-01-21 Wait, you said chaos scrolls can be bought from CPQ2? Oh god. kMS patch on Monster Carnival 2 - Kirov - 2009-01-21 Lozmaster Wrote:This is still tespia right? I can't see them balancing it anymore TBH. I mean they cut it from 3 atk to 1 atk then from a ring that you can wear 4 off to a necklace. Though it does somewhat make the Eye of Horus pointless now... kMS patch on Monster Carnival 2 - Avenge - 2009-01-21 JoeTang Wrote:They're trying to balance the differences because there's a significant gap in quality between Horntail Necklaces and Spiegalman's/Horus's. But a 2 atk CPQ necklace would already be better than my HT necklace.... imagine that with the addition of scrolling it with the chaos scrolls... kMS patch on Monster Carnival 2 - Deviant - 2009-01-21 Avenge Wrote:But a 2 atk CPQ necklace would already be better than my HT necklace.... imagine that with the addition of scrolling it with the chaos scrolls... not really, I thought 2 attack would be equal to about 10-12 stats, 22 to all stats is still better than that. And they need to quit it with this crap, HT necklaces are better because hes freaking hard to kill. kMS patch on Monster Carnival 2 - CrazyNomad - 2009-01-21 Deviant Wrote:not really, I thought 2 attack would be equal to about 10-12 stats, 22 to all stats is still better than that. maybe 2atk can be better than ht pendant if combined with echo+apple, kMS patch on Monster Carnival 2 - Serendipity - 2009-01-21 NoWaizMatt Wrote:Wait, you said chaos scrolls can be bought from CPQ2?No... the item's name is Spiegelmann's pendant of chaos kMS patch on Monster Carnival 2 - Deviant - 2009-01-21 Serendipity Wrote:No... the item's name is Spiegelmann's pendant of chaos No but the OP did say the items to upgrade it were 50 coins, and he referred to them as chaos scrolls. kMS patch on Monster Carnival 2 - IsaacGS - 2009-01-21 Deviant Wrote:No but the OP did say the items to upgrade it were 50 coins, and he referred to them as chaos scrolls. If there is such a thing (which I wouldn't be surprised, though I haven't seen any such item) it would be a special kind of chaos scroll that only works on this necklace. They've done this for event items in the past, doing it again for these pendants is a possibility. Still, that only increases ease of scrolling, not the actual rates of it happening. the odds of coming out with a 5+ attack pendant, without it getting destroyed, are extremely low. kMS patch on Monster Carnival 2 - Avenge - 2009-01-22 Deviant Wrote:not really, I thought 2 attack would be equal to about 10-12 stats, 22 to all stats is still better than that. the 2 atk pumpkin hat from the halloween event was better than my zakum helmet. even if 2-3 atk is a little bit weaker than ht necklace, add a few of the pq scrolls and it sure as hell would be. kMS patch on Monster Carnival 2 - Conserver - 2009-01-22 well,it has been implemented on KMS alrdy CPQ 2 Released,World Tour Closed,Fairy Tale Town,New Skill Amendments made,Zakum drop Zakum's Tree Branch(Weapon) kMS patch on Monster Carnival 2 - Sn1perJohnE - 2009-01-22 Conserver Wrote:well,it has been implemented on KMS alrdy apparently, going from other threads, the implementation of many things from KMST may have been an error. I dont see why they would release Zakums tree branch, being such a low lvl weapon for a high lvl boss to drop, without any indication as to what else it may be for. kMS patch on Monster Carnival 2 - fnatic - 2009-01-22 Sn1perJohnE Wrote:apparently, going from other threads, the implementation of many things from KMST may have been an error. I dont see why they would release Zakums tree branch, being such a low lvl weapon for a high lvl boss to drop, without any indication as to what else it may be for. Zakum's branch is like a magician's frozen tuna. It has +55 Matk.. and the real purpose of the release of this weapon was.. Cash. Nexon mad Zakum's branch an untradeable item, and making it only tradeable if you used an item called Karma's Scissors. Karma's Scissors are 2.7 US$ (2700 won in Korea) So, for every Zakum's branch sold, Nexon would earn 2.7US$ That was the same thing applied to Zakum's helmet and Horntail's necklace Now, those items are easily seen in kMS free markets kMS patch on Monster Carnival 2 - Sn1perJohnE - 2009-01-22 fnatic Wrote:Zakum's branch is like a magician's frozen tuna. now ill admit that nexon has done some shoddy business in the past when it came to cash shop sales in relation to in game things, but even this seems lower than rock bottom for nexon. I still think they had some plan for the Branch that extended beyond it being a low lvl equip dropped by a high lvl boss. kMS patch on Monster Carnival 2 - fnatic - 2009-01-22 Sn1perJohnE Wrote:now ill admit that nexon has done some shoddy business in the past when it came to cash shop sales in relation to in game things, but even this seems lower than rock bottom for nexon. I still think they had some plan for the Branch that extended beyond it being a low lvl equip dropped by a high lvl boss. I think they did that just to increase rarity. Think it this way. If the Zakum's branch was dropped by a pig in Maple Island, who would buy Karma's scissors and sell it with a high cost, if you could get one your own? It is dropped by a high level monster, because it is MANDATORY to trade it because obviously lvl 10~30 (which will be the main users of the branch) can't enter Zakum Raids, and the only way to get it would be by trade, and you need a Karma's scissor for every trade. The options for Karma's Scissors is - makes an untradeable item tradeable for ONE TIME so, if A gets a branch and B wants it, you need one Karma's scissors. If B becomes level 35, where you have maple staff, B needs to buy another Karma's scissors in order to trade it to someone else. Nexon earns money this way. kMS patch on Monster Carnival 2 - Sn1perJohnE - 2009-01-22 fnatic Wrote:I think they did that just to increase rarity. this doesnt make much sense X_X if it were called "magic branch" and it dropped by pigs, id say wtp, but its a themed (by name) weapon from zakum, so logically, you would think that they plan to have it upgraded, or needed for some quest. Moving beyond the whole "Nexon is a greedy bastard, and should be punished" mentality, even they would not make an item, implement it as a drop, and have no other destiny for it that to be used by low levels for a few levels until it becomes useless again. I mean, the lvls at which its even useful are quickly passed, so no one would be dumb enough to pay to cut the branch, or to buy it either, and we should really assume that Nexon isnt THAT dumb to make it an item like that. |
