Tree of Savior - CrimsonJohnny - 2015-07-31 Son of a peach, I actually got a beta key. Guess I'll need to make some time for this game after all! Tree of Savior - Jon - 2015-07-31 O hey, I got in. Let's see if I can find time to play.
Tree of Savior - Hypermug - 2015-07-31 Didn't get a key D: I'll have to wait until next time. Have fun everybody. Tree of Savior - Hanabira.Kage - 2015-08-02 Nothing here. Oh well.
Tree of Savior - Proxied - 2015-08-02 I got in via submitting an application to a fansite that was giving out 6 keys - my first cbt that I'll ever get in to! Tree of Savior - Olsi - 2015-08-03 I wonder if the squire and alchemist classes will be good/wanted enough to sacrifice better attacking skills. I love the idea of some people making the choice to be worker class over more attacking abilities. Tree of Savior - Proxied - 2015-08-03 Having not actually played the game this is pure speculation but I think any class can technically be viable with how they set up skills to have such massive cooldowns and making a large portion of the game regular attacks. Squire in specific still seems to bring some exclusive party assistance skills as well Tree of Savior - Flonne - 2015-08-03 Proxied Wrote:Having not actually played the game this is pure speculation but I think any class can technically be viable with how they set up skills to have such massive cooldowns and making a large portion of the game regular attacks. Squire in specific still seems to bring some exclusive party assistance skills as well Balancing that many classes equally is -very- difficult, for example I think I heard someone already broke the game by using some ice wall technique where you break the wall in such a way that every single fragment hits the boss, instantly killing it. Tree of Savior - Proxied - 2015-08-03 Well that's the beauty of CBT I guess Tree of Savior - Olsi - 2015-08-04 Its up for the people who got accepted! Tree of Savior - Olsi - 2015-08-07 They handed out an additionally 3000 keys and I still didn't get one biblethump. I suggest those who didn't get in to check their emails again for keys! Good luck everyone! Tree of Savior - Chew - 2015-08-07 Im still sad. No key still Tree of Savior - Hypermug - 2015-08-07 Olsi Wrote:They handed out an additionally 3000 keys and I still didn't get one biblethump. At least one of us statistically should have received one, right? Tree of Savior - Olsi - 2015-08-07 No luck on our ends it seems. Maybe one of the southperry testers got an extra beta key for their high level and are willing to give one to you two. Tree of Savior - Dark Link - 2015-08-07 Got my beta key this morning. Now to see what the fuss is all about. EDIT: This game already reminds me too much of Maple with the amount of grinding and KSing going on. Not a good first impression. Tree of Savior - Haishiro - 2015-08-07 I don't really understand why people say grinding is such a problem. Certainly it's slower if you aren't playing DPS or if you expect to be level 40 in a couple hours, but the grind is nowhere near excessive as far as I've gotten. Just follow your quests, look for non-main quests, kill stuff on your way around, and join parties frequently. I never had to stop to grind at an area for being under-leveled. If you play it like Maple (grind solo for about 3 days to get to "max" level) you're definitely going to be bored, but I don't think ToS is supposed that sort of game. Try questing maybe? Tree of Savior - Dark Link - 2015-08-07 Haishiro Wrote:I don't really understand why people say grinding is such a problem. I think it's more along the lines of I got to the point where I had a level 18-20 quest in my low 10s just from doing [story] quests and nothing else, and when I saw that it kinda made me question it a bit. Granted I don't know if there's a level scaling similar to how Maple had it where you did reduced damage to higher level mobs and/or you took more damage. Olsi Wrote:Grinding is a large part of thr game. Apparently max level is 500 or so I hear! Try questing maybe? The problem I mostly see is there isn't enough channels to contain all of the low level players like myself. I'll admit I'm not that far. Almost level 20 after 2 hours of play and I had to take a break for the time being cause the quest mobs I had to kill were usually massively crowded with other people trying to do said quest or were just there to grind out some levels. It could have been a bad time for me since it was peak hours so I'll try again later tonight. This game really reminds me of the whole "Get ahead of the pack early or you're in trouble" bit. Tree of Savior - Dredragon - 2015-08-07 I hope the game just goes into obt really soon after cbt. ; - ; Tree of Savior - Olsi - 2015-08-07 Dark Link; im hoping they add more quests than people need, it wiuld add a nice mix to the leveling. It would require balance though. I have heard however thst a lot of the time people were fighting bosses many levels higher than them but that could just be because its beta. |
