Tower of Despair - JPTheMonkey - 2015-04-22

Just finished Floors 17 and 18 on my Necromancer.

Floor 17 had a MGrappler that didn't even give me a chance to move before he killed me, he might have even started moving before the timer ended. Took lots of kiting to beat him because Nick couldn't hold him with Black Web and Dead Man's Obsession wouldn't work either for some reason. I think I died twice total to him

Floor 18 was an Asura that used Murderous Wave (Killed Nick a few times, saw some 7.7k ticks on him, but I can say for myself) and Ground Quaker, I can't remember anything else though.

Floor 19: F.Fighter specializing in poison, will start the floor with a AoE attack that leaves a poison area around her, also have a several poison explosion with long range in the X-Axis (But its kinda slow so you can see it coming) and has poison blood (When you hit her, spots of bloods appear on the floor that CAN kill you if you stay there for too long).

Floor 20: A slayer with several skills, i only saw Draw Sword (1hit ko'ed me as a asura lol), one berserker skill that its similar to wave radiation but pulls you in i think (Don't know the name) and triple slash.

This happens if you have a menu up when you load into the arena and hit ESC to close it - it instantly negates the timer. Bad idea - the AI can react to this faster than you can.

Ah, okay thanks, I just know I was alt-tabbed putting on some music when I saw him moving during the timer.

Pulled this off within minutes of the reset this morning:

25 Floor of Hell: First floor i had difficulties with my asura. Its a 4 room entrance, each room with a Witch with elemental theme. Fire, Light, Ice, Dark respectively. they each summon a familiar that follows you and try to attack you.

First one is easy somewhat, Witches throw a bunch of the halloween pumpking stuff, keep your distance then mow her down if you get near. Familiar attacks with meteors.

Second things get hairy, summon is a light bird that summon thunder clouds at your position so keep moving (This apply to the whole tower lol), the loli's is more annoying, she summons a short distance (Around a Neutral Wave with TP max more or less range) lightning bird that goes straight at you if in range that can eat a fair share of your HP bar, and she loves to spam that crap. Second attack is the thunder witch machine that hit stun with thunder bolts, if lucky you might survive, if not deaded.

Third is another step up in the annoyance scale. She summons the Ball rolling Yeti (They die fast thankfully), summon i think invokes a ice avalanche on top of you, while the witch spam some homing ice balls with lots of range but somewhat slow and avoidable, also annoying acid rain almost 100% on top of her makes it close to impossible to melee her to death. Poke and run people.

Fourth is a bit easier since she doesn't spam that many moves, FlySwatter for both her and her summon ever 10 or 20secs maybe less that does like half your HP (I question the utility of Plate armor at these times) and some AoE from the witches that dunno what it does.

Floor 26: Straight foward Asura with neutral, WWS, and a special kind of Ghost orbs that its like that gravity pull skill from lawnchairs, ghost orb out, tries to suck you in for a couple of secs, then explode. Compared to the previous floor this one was easy.

Tower of Despair - JPTheMonkey - 2015-04-26

Yeah, Floor 25 was not fun. To be specific, all skills are FMage skills.

Fire Witch uses Jack O'Lanterns and Lava, Light Witch uses Florae Collider and Enhanced Magic Missile (This one is extremely dangerous for summon classes; her EMM has next to no cooldown and bounces always unless you're alone), Ice Witch uses Acid Rain and Frosty Heads, and lastly Dark Witch uses Gravitas and Devolution Flyswatter.

I died twice to EMM peach because it bounced constantly between Nick and I and it took a death before I figured out why, and the second death I failed to maintain a safe distance, so I just left Nick dead for that room.

Accessories are your magic defense. Plate Armor is only for physical.

Tower of Despair - FenixR - 2015-04-27

Yeah but its the same story whether Physical or Magical Damage. I'm tempted to just go without gear at this point since i won't make that much difference lol. Also you can bypass the counter with ESC even if you don't have another window open, just tested it yesterday.

 Floor 6 is so hard...

Floor 31 was by far the most fun so far (in an incredibly frustrating way). I would LOVE to have a barrier-themed class like him in the game, and I love the challenge of breaking his glass pillars or else doing no damage to him. Could've done without the auto-targeted ranged attacks, though. I suspect melee classes would have a much easier time of things than my Launcher.

Floor 38 nominated for most bullshit Monk APC ever

Bastard starts with a will driver with a totem that inflicts 300 damage every sec, Bastard doesn't want to be in your X axis ever unless he's busy cleaning the floor and the walls with your blood, can't stay too far from him (Like 1px far give or take) or he does a jump attack that does 1/3rd or 1/2 of your health, can't be frozen, can't be stunned, can't be blinded, got enough hitstun resist to make seem the soldiers trying to move during heavy fire in D-Day like platypi and got occasional super armor during his skills. Did i mention he's got a frigging crossmore?

pineapple that bastard seriously, my spitfire took 5 tries (Rip 400k gold) to pineapple that bastard pomegranate up. My Asura was a bit more lucky on the first try but i had to concede with a draw, just as he killed me my IWS did the rest of the job on him.

Tower of Despair - dowie - 2015-05-02

don't forget the totem aura puts shock debuff on you

Tower of Despair - FenixR - 2015-05-02

pineapple that totem seriously, my thumb still hurts due to the 5 tries (As in dungeon entrances) sending me in a fit of rage banging my desktop Sad

Tower of Despair - pogs - 2015-05-08

I think Floor 40 is my favorite floor because BlowJob.

Edit: So I just learned every 10th floor, the APC is a random players name.

Tower of Despair - dowie - 2015-05-08

It's supposed to change monthly or weekly I forget

Warning on Floor 51: as i think Chapelle (A comedian) once said, "RUN peach RUNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN", don't bother attacking the loli unless you have AoE attacks you can leave in there and can be casted quickly, she's got WAYYYYY too many invulnerable frames so its kinda useless, and if your attacks are long winded then the basically permanent meteors (She recast one as soon as it expires) will pineapple your pomegranate up. The trick of this floor is to run around the loli (Watch out for her tripping attack that deals meh damage but inflicts blind, highly annoying in this floor) since her meteor and gravity meteor damage her for a bar or so with each cast. The meteor is faster on the X axis so run along both the Y and X axis with focus on the Y, something the meteor suddenly speeds up and crash near you so try as best as you can to keep a decent distance from it.

Floor 52, a f.spit that speeds loads all 3 nades, blazing bullet, indomitable spirit and aerial fire, occasionally leaves a flash mine (Stun and blinds), fires her photon blast if you are in her X axis, or tries to combo you with nades and super fast aerial fire with her bowgun. She's got absurd hit stun so don't bother depending on that but you can air combo her if you catch her easily.

Edit:

Floor 53: Consider every summon like a Flying pineapple i give to that Fucking floor. Echeverria and Kasijas counts as 100 Fucks. My spit hit his first roadblock 5-6 tries (x4 since deaded) and the best i have managed is to reduce her health to 3 or 4 Fucking bars before i get fucked by the summons or the Stupid poison they gave to mark the target.

Floor 54: A platypus that summons insect and wave radiation when you get near, pummel him down with extreme force and AoE attacks since the insects don't have much HP.

Her mark the target doesn't seem to wear off, either. She managed to nail my battle mage with it while I was at full hp. No matter how much I evaded the summons and cheesed hits with stabbing wheel's invince frames, the mark stayed there and ticked away until I died. Unless you can cheese her summons and do a ton of damage really fast, getting hit by it is a death sentence. And I'm not even mentioning the hoard of angry summons that'll be after you.

It took my Flawnchair 2 tries and my battle mage 3.

endless flamevoid and 100 was great

81 was good times. Still, 53 holds a special place of contention in my heart. Always hated it.

Also 88 depending on what I'm playing.
