As much as I completely understand why you would do this, and would probably do the same if in your situation, as someone who has never seen more than 1b meso in my inventory, reading that someone would just throw away 4.5b meso like that makes me cringe.

The difference is is that 4.5b is a lot of money to you and I, whereas when Bryan goes out to eat, he throws out 2b just to tip his waitress

i remember some guy duping an item "on accident" and making a thread on the nexon's forums. the answer was pretty much "oh yea whatever don't worry just use it/do whatever"
only problem here is god knows how many he has in stock, honestly i'd just say use it, it's what you bought it for after all. and as green said, there's plenty of more mainstream duped gear still floating around.
unless the problem is you refusing to use duped gear, if that's the case by all means npc it, or give it to someone less fortunate or whatever method of disposal you can come up with (i like the volcano idea)
