My main theory was that this only affected characters with a Link Skill, but you clearly threw that idea out the window. Rolleyes

I also moved my Links back from my Mercedes to my Angelic Buster.

Hayato broke the cap for me (12 -> 13), Jett and Mihile were added after that.

I replaced my Cannoneer with Hayato a few days ago, which made Hayato become the 12th that I had linked.
Seems like Hayato is the one that causes it to break?

I was able to bypass the cap with Jett's Core Aura on both my AB and Mercedes, though. Hm.

I'm already capped at 12, and can't link Jett nor Hayato. I don't have any Cygnus link skills on if that was even a factor at all.

You need to make room for a link skill, log in on your main to check you're at 11/12, then link hayato.

A link skill limit is pretty f'ucking stupid in the first place. The stats are hardly gamebreaking and they are completely worth the effort of leveling a character.

This should never have been a issue in the first place.

Shortly after the limit was implemented it didn't even really matter because there were always 2-3 skills people could live without (Kaiser, Mercedes), but we're beginning to reach the point where we have to pick and choose between Link Skills that are actually quite good, and that should never have been an issue. If we put in the time and effort to level up the class, we should be able to use it.

The Link Skill limit is just plain fucking stupid and should be removed period, unless they give EVERYONE a viable Link Skill so there's actually a point in choosing between them.

AND Link Skills should affect all characters on the account instead of just one at a time.

3 days ago, my Luminous couldn't get more than 12 link skills after putting on Beast Tamer's link skill. So I went around rearranging some link skills (but Hayato's one is always there). Then 2 days ago I tried to put more link skills on him after seeing this thread. It worked!

If that were the case, they'd offer a cash shop item for increasing link slots.

Besides, the link skill limit requires that every new class have a link skill that's better than at least some of the previous ones - otherwise people won't make the new class, and so won't fund it, won't buy pets and clothes for it, won't cube its gear, etc. So it ends up making us stronger (for free) because Nexon has to give us bigger and bigger prizes for each new class.
