GMS v.142 - Dawnveil: Demons of Tynerum Update Notes - Tigeon - 2013-10-16

Grey Wrote:Not that this matters, since we don't know how much things cost in our shop, there are some quests you can go for Gollux coins: 1 for killing the right shoulder, 2 for the left, 3 for the abdomen, 4 for the head, 4 for killing gollux with all other parts dead, 5 for 2/3 dead, 6 for 1/3 dead, 7 for killing head with no other parts dead, in addition to the ones that drop from each piece. These aren't repeatable, I don't think.

Just killing head is the most difficult, but the most rewarding, since the more parts you kill, the easier the boss becomes and the worse the rewards get.

If I remember correctly, someone posted a video of hell mode gollux. The xenon doing 20 mil per hit didnt even scartch it...and used up all 5 lives in less than 3 mins.

I am hoping to dear god I am remembering that wrong and it was only 2 mil per hit...and even then......

It was only 2-3mil per hit. Even so, I am expecting chaos mode gollux to be far more difficult than chaos root abyss or hard mode magnus.

Any insight if this applies to drops as well?
I'm going to assume we don't know, so time to start taking notes on his drops with respect to how much of him you killed.

Hopefully it is 20m per hit you're remembering. This game needs to stop being such a solo and greedy game and promote party play more, that's the top priority this game needs to have an active and less vapid community.

GMS v.142 - Dawnveil: Demons of Tynerum Update Notes - Tigeon - 2013-10-16

Okay that's a lot better. Still doesn't seem like solo-able material for me. Party maybe but I doubt bind works on him.

Normal mode might be my best bet since Hard seems...well hard.

Oh, I was assuming that it was referring to drops, but I guess the patch notes and quest info are vague enough that it could just be talking about quests. To be clear, that wasn't me making an observation, I was just parroting what the quest info for the last quest said. Gollux doesn't appear to have traditional difficulty settings, like the notes say, which "mode" of Gollux you fight depends entirely on how many parts you've killed.

We wouldn't need to worry about this if they fixed Evolving world! Biggrin

Quote: Note: The Crimsonwood Keep added in v.141 has been updated to Crimsonheart Castle. The original Crimsonwood Keep will keep the same name.
That still doesn't really solve anything. In fact this is probably worse, due to the fact that the "real" keep was owned by Christopher Crimsonheart, and it in fact would have made more
sense for it to have been named Crimsonheart Castle all these years.

Of course if they just properly explain it I guess that would be alright too.
I guess it's not too insane for some powerful guy to have castles and fortresses all over the world.

I just remembered this but where the F'UCK are S rank nebs?

I'm pretty sure one of the forum mods claim that the S Nebs are only meant for testing purposes and not to be released in the official server.

That makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. There's no way that isn't bs.

Well his exact words were "Test server only [wink face]"

Welp, looks like Nexon decided getting 7.5m mesos from Krexel was too much. Krexel himself seems to drop nothing (no equips, mesos, potions, etc). The quest now only gives 300k upon completion.

Thanks for the heads up.

Awww balls. Now where do I get money from?

GMS v.142 - Dawnveil: Demons of Tynerum Update Notes - Tigeon - 2013-10-16

So basically gollux is broken and only gives one set of rewards regardless of difficulty [betting money it's easy set]

Guess our bets were right about them putting the higher level items into nx related events [ or at least it seems like it]

Is this some sick fucking joke? Did Nexon actually manage to pull off making the game even WORSE with this patch? Jesus christ.

GMS v.142 - Dawnveil: Demons of Tynerum Update Notes - Mazz - 2013-10-16

Hahaha oh god what have they done to Magnus

We sort of got the KMS changes? The green sword is slow, but it follows you, lmfao

edit:

Easy and Hard mode seem to work fine, the green sword skill is the same as in KMS there at least, but normal mode is pretty broken

Took Hayato on a test drive against Hilla. While it seems like Counter-attack doesnt trigger DR anymore, the God of Blades hyper doesnt let you ignore DR. It will still kill you horribly if you (or Battou stance) attack. But then again, only Nexons update implies that it lets you ignore DR, the in-game description being that your status and element resist is cranked to 100.
As for Hitokiri, even with the -100% cooldown, it still has a slight cooldown around 2-3 seconds or so.
Dodge works again, Battou has its proper animation back and Falcon Dive is fixed as well.
Now I just need to find some number crunching on whether getting all the reinforcements for Shinsoku will allow it to replace Sanrenzan during boss fights.
