The individual talent level for Alliance actually isn't that high, IMO. Akke is probably the best on the team in that regard, and Loda is the worst (IMO). However, they just know what style they play and know how to execute it VERY well. I'm actually interested to see what happens to Alliance with new patches because they are obviously the kings of last patch, but how will they fare when other teams start playing/getting their rosters together.

DK can play almost any style because they have SO much individual talent on the team. IG's dominance post-TI2 for that long period shows what happens when all star teams can gel together even moderately well.

Alliance has 2 things running for them:
1: Synergy
2: They are good at what they do and they know what they want to do

I don't doubt that they'll remain a top tier team, but by the time of TI4 i'd be surprised if they were still as dominant as they were in TI3. Because the patch and heroes in TI3 were basically the best for Alliance's style at that point in time.
Na'vi is a similar team to Alliance actually, Na'vi also doesn't have the individual skill they used to have but they have good synergy and they are also good at what they do and they know what they want to do(And in Na'vi's case it's often super aggression or something crazy nobody was expecting.).
I kind of miss the old Na'vi because they had insane individual talent, at the time of TI2 they had the best western player for every role bar their 1st position. Hell i'd even argue that during TI2 Lost and smile easily contested with YYF and faith for #1 for their respective positions.

Regardless, i can't wait for some of the bigger tournaments coming up soon.

Na'Vi's not as insanely good as before? Oh dang, really? They were actually far better a couple years back?

Better compared to the competition. They were without a doubt the 2nd best team at TI2 with iG being the best. Na'vi was the ONLY western team able to make it to the prize money IIRC.
At TI1 na'vi basically stomped EVERYTHING, and post TI1 na'vi also won practically EVERYTHING, minus dreamhack.
Na'vi has always had slumps but i'd say the previous Na'vi with this roster:
XBOCT, Puppey, LightOfHeaven, Ars-Art and Dendi was the strongest Na'vi there was, based on individual skill.

But they had some internal issues, so moving on to the new na'vi roster was probably smart, and it seems like LightOfHeaven and Ars-Art lost their motivation or drive for the game because they're nowhere as good as they used to be.

http://www.dota-academy.com/team/9/ You can kind of see where their slump began and ended and stuff.

Wow...
Seriously?
Tobi said that 90% LAN café computers have Dota 2, 5% World of Tanks and 5% of League of Legends in Ukraine?
Is this actually true? And is this only in Ukraine or Europe overall?
