While we're on the topic of ore making Cygnus Knights, do they still use the Cygnus Jewel for their secondaries? or do they switch to an appropriate job type secondary weapon?

There are also ones that you can get from Evolving World which has slightly higher stats (I think with +2 extra attack?), they cost 400 evolving coins.
All Cygnus knights uses the same secondary weapon, so you can share them between Cygnus characters.
Anyway, it's still pretty easy to level even without the 1.5x coupons. It's mostly all preference, but if you're planning on making it a main character, you can start one now to get all the freebies like NX equipment, pets, expansion slots (if any future event gives them), hair, or whatnot.
