Sounds like something I said way back when hypers for these two classes was discussed more. Kanna needs at least one skill that she can use to attack that doesn't have a cooldown. She's stuck with Tengu for mobbing (in JMS, at least, because the Meso Explosion type skill's orbs don't stick around long enough), and that's a third job skill. Gyouha also needs an upgrade, but that will most likely be in passive buffs, I hope.

Kanna has a lot of ways to heal, but the base HP is wayyy too low, about the same as normal mages, with the exception of the extra HP gained from +MP items. Except without Magic Guard. my level 200 Kanna has been nearly one-shotted from Twilight Perion, Root Abyss hunting ground, Twisted Aqua Road and link 6 of Evolving World.

At the moment Kanna is in a real bad place, with nowhere near as much HP as they need to survive, and missing a massive chunk of their damage potential due to their broken skills. I hope Hyper Skills help slightly on the defensive/HP side. and that Kanna actually getting some attention means that it's skills will be fixed.

I can't really say that Kanna's base HP is too low, at least in my experience. She has close to my Paladin's max HP at only 3 levels higher than my Paladin. Maybe my Paladin's HP is low, I don't know. They're both around 15k HP. Of course, that doesn't mean she can't be 1-shotted by very high level mobs, but them doing 20k+ is excessive in the first place to be honest. She needs more survivability, but I don't think that massively increasing her Max HP is really the solution. She just needs more ways to avoid/reduce/negate damage. The fact that Magic Attacks from enemies can ignore invulnerability time doesn't really help either.

That's kind of what I meant by Damage Mitigation skills. Kanna basically has the paper-thin defense of Haku's Foxfire which only blocks 6 attacks before you become completely open to attack for about a minute.

A hyper skill that increases HP and Mana and reduces damage taken would be amazing.

I'm curious about the enhancement skills. I hope Shikigami Haunting gets upgraded to hit more enemies.

Also since they are looking for names for the skill I wonder if they would take a suggestion from a gms-er... has sooo many ideas for the name of this skill

Well to be honest I don't generally need a buff in dmg for my hayato, its already pretty pineappling strong, it's just not having hypers has bugged me for such a long time. I mean come on they could've at least granted me the first page of hypers until they figured out what to give us for 2nd and 3rd page hyper skills.

I'm sorta the same way. IMO my hayato is fine, it just would be nice to have hypers so leveling has a bit more of an incentitive like other classes.

Also, hoping to dear god that there's a damage reflect passive in there somewhere to save ourselves while we are in stance....

Giving kanna hypers means nothing when you d/c in party play areas every few minutes. Think golem d/cing people only applying it EVERYWHERE else.

That might be the case on GMS, I know nothing about how much Kanna is screwed up in GMS.

In JMS, on the other hand, the only d/c bug that still exists for her is Teleporting can still randomly (albeit much more rarely than it used to) give you a hack warning.

So I will continue to care about Kanna getting hypers.

Plus the entire concept of Kanna and Hayato getting Hypers in general means that they are looking at their classes again, which may result in revamping (hopefully positive revamping) as well as bug squashing.

At first I got so excited because I thought they would be getting the best hyper skill in MS to date. Something like this

Then I got disappointed when I saw the other images and noticed it seems a lot like demon avenger's hyper.

In any case, this is great, I'm currently playing a Hayato and although I couldn't really tell what they are missing right now since im in 3rd job, I hope they fill whatever holes it has.

And whats up with everyone calling Jett into this? Even if Jett gets hypers, there's so much work that has to be done to them to make them worth playing. There's no reason to pick Jett over a Corsair even with HS.

It's not in TMST though, it's just an image on TMS' facebook.

It's most likely going to come out in JMS first, but they haven't announced it publicly like TMS has.

Well firstly....JMST doesn't exist unless they're testing something special, which a couple of hyper skills is not.

The last time I remember JMST existing was for the failed Rebirth system, which they gave up on after the plethora of problems it caused. That was probably two years ago now.

Chances are if they're going to be coming to JMS first, it will likely be with Bamon's League, which is August 8th I believe.

Princess' Blessing is obvious.
Pama's Shield is the only skill here that looks good, but Hayato's is better because it gives damage reflect ignore in all of his attacks, instead of in a DOT.

I'm horribly disappointed. I hope JMS has different skills in mind, and TMS just went and did their own thing. Or that this is wrong. That works.
