Do Zero's story quests make 100-180 significantly faster than what it'd take another character?

Just curious, since I'm interested in the Link Skill.

I can't answer your question, but Zero does not have level 3 Link Skill at level 210 and the Link Skill level is not based on Zero's level. You collect certain items to raise the level of the Link Skill.

The items only appear at certain points, at the end of certain chapters I believe, which are based on Zero's level. While it's not immediately obvious, the level of Zero's link skill is ultimately based on the level of your Zero.

If I remember correctly, you can link starting from level 120. Then you get level 2 at 128 after completing the quest. Then level 3 at 138 after completing the quest. But there's no level 4. You jump from level 3 to 5 once you complete the quest at 178. (Max level is 5)

And yes, Zero levels much faster than normal characters. Though it also depends on your ability to clear the dungeons quickly.

You accidentally arrive at Pantheon instead. And a mysterious stranger also appears there and tells you to follow him, because the people in the temple are mad that Maple World-ians are trespassing on their holy sanctuary.

Anyways, you follow him and he takes you to the 'in-between' world, where you see none other than all of the Black Mage's commanders. They tell you that... brace for it... Grandis and Maple World are colliding, and soon they'll be one world. They planned this so that they could have one Transcendent for both worlds, Black Mage for light, someone they already chose (who???) for Life since Alicia has no power atm, and then they ask Zero if they want to join them to be the Transcendent of time! Then Zero says that they'll think about it (they lied because they didn't wanna fight all 6 commanders lolol) and then they arrive in Henesys.
