No silly! That's what CNN and Fox and CBS and NBC news is for! You know, the ones that ALWAYS tell the facts the unbiased way.
A lot of the people on my FB feed were like "OMG he got away with murder!" Well technically he did murder someone, but none of them followed the trial and evidence. I'm sure he could have gotten time for manslaughter, but not murder 2- there just wasn't enough evidence to convict him. I think the media just made him out to be guilty of murder and the public ate it up without looking into the actual case. I hate that everyone was like "OMG a WHITE guy killed a BLACK kid!" Well yes this is true to an extent. GZ is about as white as Obama is but that really doesn't have any bearing on murdering someone in self-defense. It's not like he went out and said "Ima go and kill me some black kid tonite!" No he isn't innocent, but he isn't exactly guilty either. So many people are so thick to limit this decision to a racial war. GZ was just a fool looking for some trouble and TM wasn't the baby faced, good black kid. It's likely both of them were at fault, but only GZ really knows what happened in full detail.
Also: Oakland has riots and looting! pineapple yeah! That's how we'll say pineapple the system! By looting the WHITE ESTABLISHMENT that oppresses us! #Justicefortravon
(yeah my city is full of idiots who just want a reason to beat the pomegranate out of regular people who have nothing to do with this case except for being the same skin color as the guy that killed the black kid).
