The actress you chose was a bad transposition because she has very petite facial features even for a caucasian and the page boy cute plays into those type of features. You have a broader face and it just works better with the longer hair when the two comparisons are made picture to picture.

Dooooon't cut it. Get some layers instead or a new colour (nothing extreme, maybe a little lighter or something). I think the length is perfect and it suits you very well.

Reason why I want short hair is cause, like Sapta guesses, my bangs are IN MY FACE all the time. Also it's getting really hot and I really like the freedom of movement short hair would give me (since I'm a dancer).
Guess I'll compromise: just shorter hair with layers, or something.

It's not like you have fringe bangs. It's be easy to use a bobby pin to get them out of your face.
