People abuse the 2x, then the server is dead after its over (Yellonde).
I would choose I could care less, but I guess a harmless dana is better then nothing.

I would have rather had a nifty hat. Sure, getting 2x on Demethos has been fun and gave me a good jumpstart on my page, but... I don't have an aversion to normal grinding. But I can understand with not only a new server, but a new CLASS, it was almost a given that the reward would be 2x EXP, particularly since there is a contest on how fast someone can level a pirate.
I'm expecting a major drop in Demethos' population when the contest is done, when people go back to their mains. And I'm willing to bet most of those who say "Well, I'll stay to see if it's better than Yellonde" are going to find it's just as bad or worse and leave too.

Hmm... I can't seem to remember getting anything. I started my current main on the day of Windia's birth, yet I don't remember getting anything at all for it. Granted I only got him up to lvl 15 then returned to Scandia for 2 more months before returning to Windia. But still I don't recall getting a thing.
More on topic though, I would have preferred getting the bandanna. I didn't overquest back then like I do now, and I was a nub lvl for a long time, so I never did get the '06 or '07 bandannas so it would have been nice to have something else that was unique.
