Shooting at Connecticut Elementary School - Flirtini - 2012-12-14

disgusting. has to be the biggest coward to massacre in a grade school.

Shooting at Connecticut Elementary School - Flonne - 2012-12-14

Damn. Murdered his father in New Jersey, then his mother at home, then went to a school and killed a bunch of little kids and teachers? Concealed carry permits are way too easy to get at this point; even I will admit that much. I'm not against assault weapons or exposives being banned, either, there's no need for that kind of firepower even when the revolution does come; that kind of weaponry is for aggressively attacking someone else, not defending yourself.

That would have been true anywhere with innocent people but to expose kids to such violence and hell, kill some of them is just the lowest especially as most evidence points to how he isn't some crazy random guy and he had a target in mind and just happened to want to involve kids at the same time. That's just too damned sick.

This was one of the worst things I have ever woke up to. I feel gross. I mean, an elementary school... they're just little kids....

god damn

It's so close to Christmas too.
The parents probably had presents for the kids tucked under the Christmas tree and now the kids are gone.

No stop that's too sad.

Ugh. Here's hoping some recovery happens.

My heart goes out to everyone affected.

I was thinking this exact same thing.

One of the teachers at school even said some of the kids in their rooms were saying "I just want christmas, I just want Christmas" as the shooters rampaged through the school ._.

This better lead to some serious discussion about gun regulation.

EDIT: IN THE GOVERNMENT IN CASE YOU STRUGGLE.

Rather not.
Really isn't the place for it and it gets brought up every time there's a shooting and derails the thread.

I believe he meant in government.
We should definitely not go there yet again.

Of course it's a sad day. Kids getting shot in the US, kids getting stabbed in China, and then what?

What happens now? Same thing as every time a tragedy happens, we think about it for a couple of hours or days, or until the media stops caring about this event; unless it hits close to home or gets turned into a national "holiday". We show that we care, we express our empathy to those affected, suddenly our memory is flooded with similar events from the past. We spit in the face of humanity and wonder how the hell did we get to this point. And then we forget about it and nothing happens after that. Hitting the restart button in a couple of months.

Nonetheless, rest in peace to everyone, not just these kids and teachers, who had their lives and futures taken away from them today.

Did in fact mean the government. Not about to listen to Southperry talk about gun control. That's a no.

Shooting at Connecticut Elementary School - Mike - 2012-12-14

I can't type anything coherent out. I'm really baffled.

Ah I gotcha.

I doubt it. The gun lobby group is pretty huge.

Those who never learn from history are condemned to repeat it and yet we still don't have the perfect answers. Still, I hold that as much as we hold the key to our salvation we also hold in our hands the key to destruction.
