You tried to shoe-horn it into being something it very specifically wasn't and cause very predictable results by doing so.
It's explicitly to force a reply before they can read what you said, not to prevent people from seeing it unless they meet your personal idea of worthiness.

i mentioned it as comfort for myself, not as some way to make a point actually, if 100 people use a ladder wrong doesn't mean that whatever they're doing should also be considered proper ladder usage.
