But did it need a sequel? Some things are better as one offs. I wonder if they had any solid ideas for a sequel or if its just due to fan demand. Either way can't wait to see what they show when the timer is up.

You would assume it would be on 3DS but looking at what they did with Kingdom Hearts who knows.

On a 3DS the action usually happens on the top screen due to the 3D. But the DS game was all about the touch screen really. I wonder how they will handle that. If it's not on the 3DS they would have to completely change the combat system. Well it could work on Wii U I guess. They could even make it a 2 player game. One person controlling 1 character on the TV and another on the gamepad thing.

Well, I hope it will be slightly-3D. So the sprites stick out a bit. And the cutscenes, (like the flashbacks and such) can have an epic 3D effect. Ohgod,3dtearsofthefirsttwewy, yes.

I think it will include another reapers game at some point, but with one of the original characters turning up as a tutorial partner. I seriously doubt it'll consist of all the same characters. Maybe one of them but all of them dying at once again? Not likely.

I'm betting Rhyme will be playable in this one though. They're pretty open to do whatever with her (Battle wise) since we never saw her fight before,

I thought he didn't take Joshuas spot? He came back to life at the end and met up with Beat/Rhyme and Shiki in her real body. Joshua was instead testing him at the end to see if people could really change, if Neku had shot at him, he would have simply stopped the bullet and destroyed Shibuya.

There's a scene where Neku is standing in front of the wall and it's pretty heavily implied iirc.

Neku is talking to Joshua. He says "You took care of things right, because otherwise Shibuya would be gone". That alone suggests that it wasn't Neku who stopped Shibuya from being destroyed. Joshua didn't destroy Shibuya because Neku made the right choice.
Plus Joshua is pretty clearly still an angel in the bonus ending.

I don't think it's implied at all. As far as I see it, it says the exact opposite.
