I think Ark's summons work differently, and have 99% Physical resist, not Physical Defense.

Battle Mages use magic attacks not physical. Hence why would they be able to do damage while zakum is canceling physical?

I don't understand what you're trying to say. Having 100% PDR Ignore won't stop you from missing. Ambition Ignore PDR may or may not work, last I heard, no one was sure.

No, they have 99% PDR, but it doesn't matter because they're Physical Immune, you know, like how monsters can be immune to an element and it only does 1 damage?
I'm guessing they were originally gonna have them just have 99% PDR, but they realized people could just ignore that and made them Physical Immune instead.

I got a i/l and with 100% ignore and it hit 100% but
my Battlemage is diff
2 thing that doesnt work on battlemage atm

Tested on my battlemage first i have 3 estaff so i can test out the dmg if they are the same or not vsing
Snail and Azwan Hell Mode
100% ignore --Test - 30% codex + 10% ambition +30% skill +30% ignore weapon vs snail and Azwan hell mode dmg is not the same
115% ignore --Test -30% codex +10% ambition +30% skill + 30% ignore weapon +15% nebulite vs snail and Azwan hell mode dmg is still not the same
135% ignore --Test - 15% codex +10% ambition +30% skill + 65% ignore weapon + 15% nebulite vs snail and Azwan
dmg is not the same again
150% ignore --Test - 30% codex +10% ambition +30% skill +65% ignore weapon + 15% nebulite vs snail and Azwan and dmg is the same
now i using the skill in 2nd job that has no ignore on my battlemage with
105% ignore -- Test - 15% codex +10% ambition +65% ignore weapon +15% nebulite vs snail and Azwan hell mode dmg is not the same -w/o ambition = 95%
120% ignore -- Test - 30% codex +10% ambition +65% ignore weapon +15% nebulite vs snail and Azwan hell mode dmg is the same w/o ambition = 110%
this prove that ambition is still glitch....
this also prove that battlemage all skill ignore is also glitch

Mages still do Physical Damage afaik. They get their damage cut when attacking Pink Bean and Hilla like everyone else does.
Also, what is you damage the same as? Please stop trying to explain yourself; your English has stopped making sense. Post a series of screenshots indicating what you have found.

Magic damage reduction maybe? If mages did physicalo damage, then they'd not be able to damage Akyrium (sp?)'s mobs.

PDR is not the only stat a mob have, MDR is what affects the magicians damage. When it is a fact beyond questioning that the game has both physical and magical attacks, saying that any magic class attack with physical properties is severely lacking in basic knowledge.

What he is trying to explain is that both the 30% ignore from the battlemage skill and the 10% ignore from ambition are non-functional, because he needs over 100% ignore from other sources combined (30%codex + 65%weapon + 15%neb.) before the max damage seen at snails or aswan appears the same.

i said pdr for fast way to understand most ppl use pdr and since pdr and mdr % most of the time is the same only few bosses has diff pdr and mdr alright i will say mdr it the same as pdr in this case ..... 10% mdr is on the snail is also has 10% pdr it same
azwan hell mode is 70% of both...

you srs ? im not talking about physical strong.... i know they got cut in half dmg ..... snail and azwan hell mode mob has no physical strong this has nothing to do with physical strong
~if you think my answer is wrong try to get a battlemage and have over 100% pdr you will know that battlemage ignore skill is not working

There's a difference between PDR, MDR (maybe - I didn't know MDR existed), and physical resist (like elemental resist). Some mage skills have physical element - Evan's Illusion comes to mind, as well as Magic Claw - that is affected by the physical resist of some bosses like Hilla, Epinea, Pink Bean, and Empress.

battlemage has no element
where does it say it has dark element?
all battlemage skill is non elemental and since battlemage has no elemental decrease it dmg will be decrease by 50% when attacking physical strong type

no evan illusion has no element
the only dark element evan has is dark fog and killer wings there might be on more i think phantom imprint has dark not sure on that one

Well I don't have a battle mage nor will I bother putting in 100% ignore PDR on it. Ask [MENTION=5228]Razmos[/MENTION]; for help since at least he doesn't care about his IGN being known.

No, the burden of proof is always on the one making a claim.
We are not required to go hunt down a Battle Mage with so much ignore def on his weapon and nebulite just to refute a completely unsupported claim.
Censor your character name.
Take off most of your gear so your real damage doesn't show.
