Yay I can reset that 60 DEX I have on my shadower without paying a billion dollars!
I always cap my DEX too high and regret it ;_; (currently at 380+ total DEX...)

Sephie Wrote:ShinkuDragon; Wouldn't this not work if you hit the MP minimum? That means you need to wash MP as well as HP if you want to do this. Non-warriors might need to spend extra on MP washing for their HP washing.

For Phantoms, MP washing is probably the way to go because they can steal Magic Guard (toggle, undispellable) but I don't know if Magic Guard blocks a DR hit (probably the reason you would wash anyway...). IIRC, when you have massive INT, you can put AP into MP for a huge boost then reset the MP out and only take out 10.
correct, it wouldn't work if you hit the mpminimum, but that's the whole point of the first reset, giving you waay too high amounts of MP, explanation on next quote.

MG doesn't absorb reflect

yep, that's good, i'm going to use the warrior as an example first, i'm assumming you have 2000 int before adding any points to MP

you add 100 points of AP to MP, each gives 204 mp on average (200 from int + 4 from ap) then reset all 100 points out of it, so on average 200 points per AP, 100*200 = 20000 mp

you got 20k mp from just that, every reset is a cost of 4 mp with a gain of 50 hp (average, before skills) that 20k mp is worth 5000 resets, so it's a total of 250k hp you can get from it, you don't need nor can get that much, you only need to max about 60k hp, and you'll still have a lot of MP remaining even afterwards.

for other classes is much less effective though. doing thieves, that 20k mp is only worth 26.666k hp, so you'd need to dump about 350 total ap into MP to wash to max hp, not that you have to though, since 26+base hp on a thief is enough.

all of these calculations are assumming you have 2k int first though, with potential that can be more, that can be less

So this method would also work for level 200 chars?

I see nothing about levelling up in the instructions, so yes.

it benefits from you being 200, since that's a lot of base int to get mp from
