Check their partners. Nexon doesn't hire them for professional work, as they promote their material. Since it's promo material for them, they take A LOT of short cuts. They probably would not want this in a professional portfolio. Nexon is listed under their partners.

Maybe the Skyia is a portable immortality vessel, akin to the treasure that Arwen hands Aragorn in Lord of the Rings. Perhaps while in the possession of such an object, it allows one to live forever without the need to bind themselves to Shinsoo.
Again, that's only a theory. Until Nexon proves exactly what the Skyia is in its entirety, I retain my theories as nothing more than hogwash.

Remember, that Freud is dead, and Aran has forgotten all his memories and is currently going solo like a pro. It must be nice to see one her friends seemingly unharmed.

My guess is the unnamed Aran cosplayer (Female Aran) is the ad representative for the Generation 1 heroes, with Danika being the representative for the Generation 2 Heroes. Lilin is there for fanservice, Cyggie is the most important figure in Maple World, and Valerie represents the Adventurers as an ad representative.
And yes, this is in the present. How the hell do you explain Cygnus in that spot when Aria ruled in the past (pre-First War)? Not to mention that Helena is in her current, matured form. I SERIOUSLY doubt this is in the past.
EDIT - @Morbid: That's one way of looking at it. 'Course, Athena could've had a childhood crush, and Mercedes spent so much time with Phantom she probably fell in love too. Though I honestly believe your theory is the correct one here.
EDIT 2 - Is it me, or is the way Neinheart and Mihile are gazing at Phantom just screaming "C'mon, man - kiss the girl already!"? I mean, Cyggie's all gawking at him anyways, not to mention her sister/ancestor/granny was his lover in the first place.
