Mesos aren't meant to double on server 2x drop, only with 2x drop cards.

Spent several hours today at Oblivion, hunting Gaga's junk with my Mutant Pig familiar.
On 3.2x drop (2x and the pig) I should have been getting an etc drop and a meso drop on every single kill. I didn't.
And before you say "maybe they don't stack": when I put the pig away I got a lot less drops of all kinds: etc's, meso, and those event items

You're just lucky. I got 0 in 1 hour's worth of training/hunting there. It's definitely not 2x drop. Gaga's missions take maybe over 3 hours if you have no familiar on. I take less than 2 hours on my mules with Mixed Golems.

People who think it's 2x drop right now must have never even played 2x drop... Or they just came back and don't know BB increased drop rate for equips.
With 2x drop, you would have your equips inv full of equips in just 5-10mins
