Glad I was able to pull off an A in that East Asia class, wasn't too fond of the professor as well as some other things about the class.

Naw, it's an Information Technology curriculum. Forensics sounds quite fun, though. :3 And I agree, I had quite some fun in my networking class, especially because I had an awesome teacher to go with it.

I personally think you can think learn a lot in Networking classes because the professor can usually cover on a lot of topics that it'd be harder to self-study on. I think I'd be really discouraged from studying about subnetting if I were to try it by myself when I was a bit younger. It's really fun, and I honestly miss doing all of that. Speaking of which, a colleague of mine is studying in preparation for his CCNP right now. But the guy's been tech-savvy since he was a child, so he has that innate talent.

I assumed you were studying Forensics only because I noticed the "Introduction to Security" course, but I forgot that I took a Security class or two when I was in my 1st two years of college too. But yeah, I heard Forensics isn't bad if you're going all out on that, or at least have a degree in Computer Forensics with a primary in IT or something.

My grades dont get posted until Friday. I already know that I got a B in Digital Film Making. I think I got that mainly because it was the first semester for the class Frown. Its not easy filming stuff when you have work and class all day, Monday through Thursday Rolleyes.

(Informally) received my grades; my school's registrar is still "processing" them, but there were other ways for me (and other fellow students) to see it

Without ado, here they are:

Microbiology 160: Biology of Cancer and AIDS - A
History 393T: History of Central and Eastern Europe 1772-1991 - A-
English 131: Society and Literature - B+
PolySci 171: Intro to Political Theory - B (this is where I need to step up a bit in political science...FML)
Music 565: University Orchestra - A

3.5 GPA overall for first semester (3.7 GPA overall for my history major, and 3.0 GPA overall for my political science major). Not bad; I felt that I redeemed myself a bit. But its not over yet until graduation.

Now I need to put more focus on Poly Sci since I didn't do so well. =\
