But you could make one from scratch with the new yellow and maybe even make it spell things (eat at joes).

hey eos, would it be possible to add a fourth color to the "GMS status" icon, for when servers are laggy, but have no crashes? because (correct me if i'm wrong) maple is pretty much always laggy, so i don't expect the button to be green very much.

You need to remember that the status page is not updated all at once. (inb4Eosgoesmultiprocess)

The script checks one channel at a time. And when it takes 10 seconds to get a response from each, it takes 3 minutes for just one server to show all yellow. Therefore, just because the rest of the channels/servers show green, doesn't mean they're not lagging. The status update script just hasn't gotten to them, yet.

Whatever is wrong with Nexon's network hardware (or their ISP's) affects all servers and channels (and games, and their webpage) simultaneously.

(I'm not talking about when individual channels go from 0.07 latency to 0.09, that is channel-specific).


And a suggestion for Eos, since people seem to have trouble reading the "As of" column: How about graying or fading status markers that are "outdated" (say, over a minute old)?
