Oh, or maybe it's a glitch where the notice popped up but Eregos didn't spawn. Happened to me a couple of times.
It's probably this. While farming coupons/juniper and hyssop seeds and flowers/training at Pirates on my Evan over the past couple of days, I've noticed that a little less than half the time, the blue message appears but Eregos doesn't spawn. I wonder if he stops spawning in that map in that channel when that happens, I never stick around in the same channel for another hour to find out.

derpgoth's spawning routine sucks ass. message appears and he doesn't sometimes, other times channels just won't spawn (and no, not because of other people getting there first).
they're probably fixing it, not nerfing his ridiculous omnipresence that's gotten me enough boxes for a month's worth of opening. so far. whatever, they could nerf it and i wouldn't care. event 2 gud!

I have to download the client again. I think it was because I used Fiels patcher for V100 to V101. Its okay though, I needed to get my client off my SSD anyway. HDD AWAY!

Nothing seems to have changed. The maps that normally spawned ergoths continued to spawn ergoths. Those that were weird and didn't spawn any, continued to not spawn any.
