See, I'm such a valuable entity on southperry.net! Smile

Rest of you is just jealous! Tongue

If it weren't for Nikola Tesla this all becomes moot.

SO NIKOLA TESLA INVENTED THE INTERNET AND FACEBOOK

At the very least I won't be jealous of your grammar. But I'll be kind enough to point out that when you talk in plural, it's 'are', not 'is'.

ie:

Roses is red. <- incorrect
Roses are red. <- correct

Cavemen invented the internet, guys! Since if they didn't discover fire, there would have been no metallurgy (among MANY, MANY other things) and thus there would be no technology so no internet. Unless we could have invented the internet with sticks, in which case I stand corrected. Actually hell, primordial chemicals invented the everything since without them, no life and therefore no internet.

It's a germanism, "rest" isn't plural per se.

See, even Canada contributed to the human evolutionary process! Big Grin

Props to your country m8! :+)

Devil, 99% of the time I actually like and support your plugging because it's logically relevant to whatever you're promoting. But this is just ridiculous. A 2.5 min YouTube video is no more factually supportive of the Dutch serving as the root reason for Facebook's existence than The Social Network is for the same reason.

Funny story, though - The Social Network is more believable.

Actually Canada wasn't inhabited by humans at the time of cavemen, humans migrated to Canada/North America via the Bering Land Bridge and later, from Europe using ships. Technically, everyone in North America is some generation of immigrant.

If you were trying to offend me, it didn't work. I'm not nearly as nationalist as you are. Try again.

Wow, you actually took him seriously?

Actually, now that you think about it...

You know I made this post in Shenanigans for a reason, right? Tongue

Also, the tone of the video isn't that one of a Discovery documentary... Wink

Oh sorry, I thought you spoke of modern Canadians when you spoke of cavemen, my wrong! Excellent

I'm of Dutch descent, too. I'm not jealous, you're just annoying.

Is it strange that this post made me think of him as the Dutch equivalent of Yu-gi-oh the Abridged Series's Bandit Keith? Seriously, I wouldn't put it past him to wear the flag of the Netherlands on his head and shout out "IN THE NETHERLANDS".

Poor devil, I understand you.

...but we still have to put you to sleep, with shotguns.

That isn't strange at all. Then again, there's a lot of dutch people that get all patriotic on certain days, like our queens day(which is one of my "Don't leave the house under any circumstances" days). He's probably one of them.
