I seem to recall the notice about the hair salon revamp saying there are about 200 hairstyles in the game. Multiply by the number of hair colors?
idk how many faces, again multiply by the number of eye colors.
Multiply the above two numbers together, then by the number of skin colors.
Sounds like it's on the order of magnitude of ten million combinations....
Personally, not touching these. Stayed with my character-creation-screen face/hair/skin for 200 levels, not changing now.
Might do it on some mules for laughs, if I could be bothered to actually go kill stuff on said mules...
However, I should point out it's not the combo you like, but a combo you like. If you're as picky as me and only want one combo for your char, better not get into this at all.

@Satellite Its just REG and VIP hairstyles and faces. Some of the royal hairstyles became REG/VIP after the "hairstyle revamp"
@DucksGoQuack Not if you have royal hair or face. But its fun messing around on mules like you said
