This bug shouldn't have existed for so long, and the lenght it has been around just shows this company's total incompetence.
It's probably too hard for them to simulate 30 entries with the few testers they have, and they couldn't still find the issue in the code. Either that, or they just didn't still notice. Which sounds kind of strange after a year.
That said, d/c hackers are just as bad as this glitch. They still are around, sadly, but d/c hacks should've been patched YEARS ago. I can't still understand how hard it is to put a pineappleing check in the servers so that who sends more than x messages a second gets auto-banned. Guess it is too hard for them to figure that out.
Even if it wasn't that easy, they should've still found a fix AGES ago. I mean, just come on. It's a game-breaking issue. It can seriously hinder some people's gameplay at other people's will. That's just the worst it could happen to a game.

Waiting 45min for drops is absolutely ridiculous.
Most of my income nowadays is from HTPs as well. I would like the glitch to be fixed, but if it isn't at least I will benefit financially, lol.
You don't have to wait 45 minutes btw, unless that was changed. Waiting 30 minutes after summoning the main body (which means 15 minutes of killing and 15 afking for myself >.>) has always worked for me.

Me and some guildies are wanting to ht for months now, but we can't because of this glitch. It surely is affecting our gameplay, because all we have is zakum (we're all decent but not strong enough to take on von leon, allthough we're talking about trying with a large party) and LHC, which is getting old.
Now cwpq is also gone, there is nothing else to do anymore (except getting better equips, which is hard without cubing/buying NX, which almost none of us do). I've lost 3 friends allready quitting over the past 2 weeks because of boredom, and I think the ht/cwpq glitches are partially responsible for that. :^/

I'm really saddened by this glitch too. My guild's been around for almost two years now, starting out small and slowly growing into the nice group of friends it is now. We all were in the early 4th job stage upon creation and now many people are in their 160s or 170s. That being said, it's a nice feeling when we can do new things together. First it started out with just normal Zakum when it was still a challenge, and now we've started Czak and Von Leon. But it feels like Horntail would be the ultimate goal, but at this pace we can never run as a group. Really frustrating.

Why is HT the ultimate goal when czak is SO MUCH HARDER?

It's different.
Czak is just Zakum with a few more quirks, while Horntail is a completely different boss.

Don't worry. If you're in scania, glitch or not you won't be HT'ing. If and when they fix this glitch someone will be holding for sure.

Is it ok for me to be disgusted at some of you who casually say that HTPs are like... your major source of income? Not all of us are gifted to solo HT here and gloat about our wealth because of it.
That said, this glitch has been around for far too long. Having it unfixed for a month is inexcusable, let alone a year, and Nexon needs to do something about this.

It's ok. We all know getting to a high level of funding and power means we shouldn't be able to be rewarded by bosses and their drops.

Haha. This was my cousin's guild too. a hell of a lot of the players were level 15x+ but since my cousin quit (for good reason too), everyone just seemed to break off because there wasn't anything to do anymore. That plus the obvious glitches and hackings that are rampant , there's no way that the guild is going to revive again (it's done this like 5 times over the course that we've been training). Most of the guild has quit/ gone off to other guilds because we're basically inactive now. Sad that we could have horntailed if we wanted to (we had the people to do it), but nothing really went through because, well, it's Scania. If the glitch is ever fixed, there will literally be no channels open without having an organized queue of people (which won't ever happen and botters will stay in the channel forever).
I would like to go to a Horntail, especially since I built my bowmaster to be at horntail (blood washed to have 8k HP with HB at level 14x). Too bad I'll never be able to do it because
-HT is obviously glitched
-I knew people that ran, but they quit because people hacked them
- I still know people, but they'd never take me because they only run with a group of people that will guarantee to kill the thing in like 5 seconds.
- Scania is dependant on "non random people" so much so, that they'll never take anyone but the norm, even if one of the runners vouches for them.
I have still not been to Zakum since I got windows 7 because I still don;'t know if my computer can "handle" it. (yes I know my graphics card can handle this, but MS and it's stupid memory leaks and sound card crap doeesn' like my computer. We should not NEED to change graphics settings in order to play the game without disconnecting).

Yeah, my guild can flatten Chaos Zakum and Von Leon, but doesn't have the manpower for Empress (PB's not really worth the entry price, is it?), so there's just not a whole lot to do. A couple of the top DPS characters in the guild have even soloed HT, but it would be nice to earn pendants all around, with less hassle.

The best way to fix this is not to actually fix the bug, but to introduce some other pendant better than HTP/CHTP that's easy to obtain. Then the people who actually wants to HT for fun can do it.

Also, dont give a crap about people using HTP's for wealth. The boss is so easy. Without the current one year glitch (and DC dipshyts), we'd have much cheaper pendants for everyone.

I'd prefer it if they actually fixed it. The fact that the glitch exists at all is just insulting really. I'm a novice programmer and I doubt even I would have let something like that slip by me and make it into the live servers, let alone allow it to remain in the game for over a year.
Also, I don't think people who kill Horntail for fun would appreciate still having to wait for a week to go back and get a "chance" to fight him again.
