We realize it's normal for her to do this.
But the reason most of us saying it's glitched is because Empress seems to be doing that EVERY TIME her HP gets lowered. I highly doubt she's supposed to do that. No matter how many times her HP was taken down, she just healed halfway.

I was watching some videos about empress cygnus and what i can say is...
You should let the boss summon all his successors (650 hp) and kill them all.
Then you should continue your run normally (with crash, rush and what you want more) and when the HP of the boss is around 1 / 4 stop attacking and let it summon again.
These then are the successors of each (1.5b HP) and they all come once.
That's it?
Makes sense to me...

Yeah pretty much. And what do you know, it came from researching a video.
We have JMS cygnus if you didn't know (talking to OP). It's just not working 100% due to the auto-heal.
A lot of times you just gotta go and try it yourself. Do different experiments, different things, and you'll be able to figure out what works and what doesn't. The groups that are getting 140 gear from V2 instructors right now aren't putting up any videos because they don't want their strategies/ideas/theories being leaked out. You probably won't even find any until empress is fixed and gets defeated, and then maybe a week or two after that.

another thing is, empress was glitched from the patch, most people gave up on her, however, those that kept trying and going ended up discovering that "hey, it's less glitched now!" simply by going out there and experimenting. something that as much as i like, nobody else i know does since they love their 1% exp too much to waste it on a "glitched boss" <.<

Figuring out pb and czak was great fun. I was looking forward to empress so much and then everyone decides to be party poopers. f3

indeed, got a friend that didn't believe me when i told her that the items where out when i told her, response was something like "she was glitched" well duuuh she was, now she isn't as glitched

There's one that caught my eye and they do practically what I said above.
The only thing they don't do is kill the instructors V1.

Again, we don't really have this ability due to the minimal amount of people in chaos being able to do this.
If I was using one of my Windia accounts, I would have tried this.
If you are the organizer of your run, you should know what a pain in the ass it is to get these things together without truly dedicated runners.
I also feel it's a waste for those who show up just to help me/the other runners. I just wanted to make sure.

-Elitist retards who aren't elite.
-No one really trustworthy.
-Weak people with little to no knowledge about MS in general.
I agree, I'm not planning on adding anyone besides those who I PB with. It's just so much work convincing people to boss around this time due to school preparation and such. Most of my runners don't even want anything, and if they do I have no problem with it.

Sadly, I do not yet have the right connections for high bossing groups in Bera, so I wasn't able to try Pink Bean or Empress even just once.
For the last, it's obvious most people don't want to go because they heard it's "still glitched" and "way too hard", but I don't really get why not trying. I feel she's totally defeatable with the right strategy. Maybe not right now because of that healing issue, but.. why not, let's at least do it for the instructors!
And to figure a good strategy for later use.
I would really like to be able to go on one of those runs in my server, even because my character is probably enough washed to do it already (over 12k HP with HB).
I also always listen to directions, but, more especially, don't even ask for the rewards themselves: if the group managed to kill the V2 instructors, I wouldn't even ask for the splits if they don't want to share them. I don't run for money. I run for the fun and the challenge.

It is good though for people to get used to instructors V1 and V2. Great practice on how to make it go smoothly and good splits. Then when empress is finally fixed, it can probably be taken down.

Ever since Zakum came out, I've been excited by challenge (was level 8x at the time). A lot of people have forgotten that, or just don't care and want to rush through things with DPSDPSDPS.
I remember when I went on my first Horntail run, I was shaking with excitement just trying to survive. Now with Cygnus out, excitement is overcoming me again
Another thing. Maybe it's just a personal issue with me, but I always feel bad about taking splits with runs :O
When HT pendants, Chaos Zak helms, and (whenever it's beaten and I'm lucky enough to be on a run that drops them) Lv. 140 weapons sell, I feel like I don't deserve the meso. Sure I was on the run, but I don't feel like I did enough to deserve it =X

Too bad it's like that for every MMO. There's ALWAYS people who are just flat out terrible at the game and only want the easy way out, so they go join a group that will carry them through content for easy loot.

While I agree that can be a problem, its the only way to get started.
The way bossing groups work right now is that there are primary groups that have established orders of command who organize and such while there are also trusted people who come and scabs. In order to work your way to be a leader you have to start as that scab and work your way up earning trust.
