Hideouts from previous rounds do not remain.
I never said anything about communication; I find that "do whatever you want, but you shouldn't trust anything" is easier to moderate in this type of setting than "no talking" since in the latter, you can conceivably cheat and get away with it. But if I have you all on your word, I think "no talking" is the better way to play. After all, you have no time to be making shady deals with each other. Pink Bean is after you.
Also, I'll mention that due to the nature of this game, the number of people who have taken an action so far is secret at all times, until the round is over.
