Hunter X Hunter with Spoilers - Takebacker - 2011-10-05 Omg he finally introduced gin as a character. If gin becomes the chairman they'll (gin and gon) most likely meet a fair bit quicker. We'll see what happens for now. Hunter X Hunter with Spoilers - Takebacker - 2011-10-13 Not enough discussion. So we learned a few things this chapter. 1) Gin is a badass and a manipulative genius. /expected 2) Hisoka accomplished nothing while the ant arc happened and is itching for a fight. 3) Killua is somehow going to his dad about helping gon, which is both weird and unexpected. 4) Younger brother? Why is this important? Hunter X Hunter with Spoilers - OB3LISK - 2011-10-13 4) Not sure but they never fucking mentioned him, I bet he's the favorite. That must be one of the reasons pinface wants to kill him. Maybe he has healing powers (doubt it would be a plot hole) that is the reason Killua went home. 3) Yeah I expected Killua to go to Leorio...Not sure what his Dad could do for Gon. Except above maybe prob not. 2) Yeah Hisoka did nothing lol. Maybe whatshisface leader of the Spider found the nen eraser...Maybe. But back to Hisoka...Wonder if he knows Gin is Gon's Dad which is why he wants to meet him. Or maybe he knows he is strong...He is ranking everyone he sees. 1) Meh. To be honest with you I thought he used a nen ability on the basket and it made his come up first. Like how if Hisoka was to throw his paper in there he could use gum texture to change all the papers to match his rule paper making all 12 votes the same thing (although he would have some other ability besides gum, something cooler). I was a little disappointed that it wasn't that and turned out to be a trick. Hunter X Hunter with Spoilers - kenshinEx - 2011-10-13 Hmm, seems to me like Gin and the rat guy are the only people with actual brains within the 12. Wonder who actually voted for Gon and Killua? 1 votes each Hunter X Hunter with Spoilers - OB3LISK - 2011-10-13 Someone other than me and Takebacker?! Welcome! Dunno who voted for them, could be anyone really as a joke. Or anyone, they made a LOT of connections, and there aren't as many Hunters as I would have thought. Gin and Mouse are extremely smart and sophisticated, rereading the chapters a few time (over the past weeks, first one was so fucking epic with the votes and 12 council) you can see the 10 other people changed their physical and mental -ness to match their zodiac sign, showing devotion to Netero. It's funny that Mouse and Gin were the big two who said they wanted to be next chairman, because they're the ones that didn't care enough to change it. And they're both fucking devious. Gin shrugs off that his son is dying like he doesn't care and actually setup this big voting rule thing. Mouse is an intense as pineapple guy, he stares Gin down when he tries to rile Gin up when he says "I'll waste my time going to see your son when he turns up dead," and a few times it's shown he knows how to play the game (making the 12 voting for how election to be held by making the rule-er write their name down too). The others have brains but aren't as aggressive as those two, they clearly stand out. Pariston has a clearcut advantage in the elections, probably because he advertises, has good credibility, and has an honest human looking face and knows how to talk. I wouldn't be surpised if he ended up winning. Only other thing I see is Gin winning somehow by someone advertising for him/him doing something extraordinary. In the entire series there hasn't been a single person with a healing nen type as far as i can remember. The closest thing there is to healing that we've seen is that one chick in the spiders with the nen-string. This new character could be introduced as such and heal gon but that seems way too easy. Besides, if this kid has the power to heal, and illumi wants to kill him, which would in turn kill gon, there's no way hisoka would stand by and let it happen. Especially since gon is now god tier nen user. 2) Didn't the black guy mention the spiders? I figured he was found and recruited before the greed island arc even finished. The rest of hisoka's shenanigans was apparently just FINDING the leader. 1) I figured the useless character what's-his-name just stuck the paper in when he grabbed into the hat or whatever. Not really sure there's a point discussing it really, since that's what ended up happening. Hunter X Hunter with Spoilers - kenshinEx - 2011-10-14 OB3LISK Wrote:Someone other than me and Takebacker?! Didn't Kurapika have a Healing Chain on his thumb (its a male right? :f6 , used back when he was fighting Ubogin. It can speed up healing or something, used to heal his broken arm. And the nen-string user looks closer to stitching than healing to me. Did I see Biscuit voting as well? interesting Hunter X Hunter with Spoilers - Takebacker - 2011-10-14 I'm not really sure what every single ability he has is, but that's certainly much closer to healing than that nen-b'itches string. Kurapika most likely can't heal anyone except himself though...much less save gon from a life or death situation like this. Hunter X Hunter with Spoilers - Takebacker - 2011-10-20 New chapter.

Hunter X Hunter with Spoilers - OB3LISK - 2011-10-20 Really Takebacker? I must have missed where they mentioned gate 3. Few things of my own: -Seems weird that Killua learned about nen sometime, but his brother who never got spoke of during when we knew him is a nen eraser and he knew that. He shouldn't have known what nen is at all? Will have to reread to check his reaction because that's a plothole. -Okay he's opening gates to see his brother and asked for Father's help. Guess that's why he left Gon, and why he's going to die. Guess brother is so darkness that even Illumi/father knows it and ignores him. -Gon I guess really is messed up and his own nen is weird or something and needs to be removed. He did explode it all out or something, that was werid. -See this nen erasing somehow relating to Danchou of Spiders? Maybe he'll steal this kid or Hisoka will and then let Illumi kill him. -Votings are lol. I definitely at first thought meaning losing license = dont count as voter. Sneaky peach. -Where is Gin I wonder. Hunter X Hunter with Spoilers - Takebacker - 2011-10-20 OB3LISK Wrote:Really Takebacker? I must have missed where they mentioned gate 3. Nonono i was referring to WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY back when gon/kurapika/leorio were trying to bring killua back after the hunter exam. The guard mentioned when killua opened the door to go home he opened the third gate. I think. -THAT'S TRUE. I think it was more like he had a little idea of what it was since his whole family uses it he just didn't know terminology or whatever. I dunno. That's a good point though. -Maybe gon expunged his aura and now he can't control it so it's morphing into something dangerous that's tearing his body apart. If the nen is removed his body will revert back to normal? -No i don't think this will relate to danchou since they already have that black guy from greed island. Although his has the downside of summoning that nen-beast, so maybe alluka won't have that setback. There has to be some reason alluka scares the s'hit out of these hardened assassins though. -Votings are indeed lol. It probably won't be settled until gon gets better, but it seems pariston is going to win regardless. I thought it was weird he got so many votes though. Is it just because of his face? He could be tweaking the votes though so hopefully he'll be disqualified. -Well they did mention Gin tends to disappear randomly for unknown periods of time. Hunter X Hunter with Spoilers - OB3LISK - 2011-10-20 Yeah but idk what Gin being there could actually do, besides probably countering Pariston. Pariston is probably advertising really well. He's a starred famous Hunter, VICE CHAIRMAN aka already having power, he's a smooth talker, not to mention no one else really cares about the job. http://www.mangareader.net/207-14048-19/hunter-x-hunter/chapter-39.html Got it you're right, he easily opened 3 doors before and he can do 5 now. Not sure what the doors have to do with leading to the little brother though...They're all the same damn door aren't they? Honestly not sure at all about Gon. But back to the brother, that guy must be pineappleing scary, if he can remove nen then he could maybe remove the whole nen from anyone he sees, not just specific attacks, making them useless. That's a scary pineappleing ability. No wonder they wouldn't like him and keep him locked up, but I wonder who he demonstrated and whose nen he took away. Maybe the mother or the fat brother. Edit: Oh and timeskip is weird for Danchou because...Game Island he sees it, lalala some time later the rest of the Spider and the new recruit(s) fight those ants and the fake queen and the sword umbrella Hiei wanna be becomes temporary Danchou and he still didn't get back to them. And I thought Hisoka would have tried to hunt and fight him in that long time span from even then to now. Hunter X Hunter with Spoilers - Takebacker - 2011-10-20 I dunno i think it's kinda useless to discuss what gin is up to since mystery is the point of his character. Guess so, though he kinda pisses me off for some reason. Something just seems off about him, ya know? It's the same door but the significance is that each door is a f'uck ton heavier than the last. It's just to show how much stronger killua has gotten. I don't know how much heavier the 5th door is compared to the 3rd though. There was an explanation on how it's tiered but i never did the calculations. That's also a good point. It never occurred to me that nen removal could also mean the removal of nen or nen techniques entirely. That would certainly explain why they're so scared of him. I'm betting on the mom since she's always covered in bandages and is robot like. If that's the case though, killua is taking a pretty big risk. What the f'uck happened to the spiders after that anyway? I completely forgot about them fighting those ants. Something weird i remembered though is that killua's sister was part of them at the time. She might be too young but she should also know about her brother, and since the spider are looking for an eraser (assuming the black dude wasn't recruited), why would she not tell them and end their search? There's a lot of peculiar questions still need to be answered. Hunter X Hunter with Spoilers - OB3LISK - 2011-10-20 Yeah seriously I didn't even know she was killuas sister until I just reread it..not sure what she planned to gain from spiders beside experience and strength to open the doors herself. Yeah mom makes sense. I love how we two man this thread and there's more discussion than any of the big three threads lol. Hunter X Hunter with Spoilers - Takebacker - 2011-10-20 I just find it funny that we're more satisfied with hxh than basically anyone posting in any of the other three manga threads, lmfao. Hunter X Hunter with Spoilers - OB3LISK - 2011-10-27 Exactly I came to post the same thing, it has nothing to do with nen. The doors...Were not strength opening doors lol. I guess Killua tried to open them by entering random codes? Yeah this is tricky: You can't decline 3 in a row or Killua and Gon would die. You have to accept 3 (in a row?) and then you get your wish. But the thing is they said "she didn't finish her pestering" which means she could be on 1rst or 2nd decline, meaning Killua may have to automatically accept the first one. But also, the last wish was a stupid ass computer so it may not be that bad of a pestering. We saw the money wish made her wants organs. A new computer wish may be something easy, hopefully. Hunter X Hunter with Spoilers - Takebacker - 2011-10-27 Lol yeah yeah it would make a lot more sense and be a loooot more badass if the strength doors were in place there too, since we'd get to see the raw strength of his dad. He doesn't necessarily have to accept 3 in a row to get the wish, he just has to accept 3. I'm not sure her unfinished pestering applies to someone else gunning for a wish. I'm also not sure if a small wish resets the unreasonableness of the pestering. If it didn't though the pestering would just compound and she would kill everyone eventually. Hunter X Hunter with Spoilers - OB3LISK - 2011-10-27 Yeah it probably should reset...Maybe it's even used up after 4 more declines. (Ex. Big million dollar wish, 3 bad pesterings AKA "lemme get your duodenum spleen appendix," 4th bad pestering = death" and then reset, because obviously the last person was able to wish for a computer, the pesterings must have been reasonable. But then you have to question why after that computer she didn't complete 3 pesterings now, I mean it would only make sense for someone to complete it and get a wish. Although we see a flashback of the Mom not in bandages, once again it could have to do with the Mom getting hurt and then Alluka got locked up. Killua also mentions Illumi manipulating Alluka, not sure how that would tie in and how that corresponds. Hunter X Hunter with Spoilers - kenshinEx - 2011-10-27 Seriously, a PC? He could have just bought em PC instead of wishing em. Yes 3 times = wish = reset No 4 times = death = reset If it need not be continuous, then there's always: No, No, No, Yes, No, No, No, Yes, No, No, No, Yes, Wish; effectively giving 12 pesterings to choose from which should make it easier? |
