I'm loling @ how idiotic your idea is. It was definitely more favorable to poor players like yourself previously. You could get on all those low level alts you never had the motivation to level up and farm ores, then smelt, then give to another alt of yours and make rings for the recipe. Now there's essentially no way in hell that low levels or poor players will get a DAB ring.
Also, players like myself spent billions to get ores together for the sake of preparedness. Getting those ores would've been much much cheaper had I bought them sooner, and been more prepared. But apparently you're more interested in rewarding laziness by saying "Dear players that worked hard to collect enough ores to get this recipe for the best ring in the game, or players that spent a fortune buying said ores; Fuck You. That is all."

All individuals rich or poor would benefit, at least to some degree and everyone can participate. Level 4 for the Android, Angelic Blessing or Giant Potion is achievable for everyone in the time period, you don't even need to have stocked up on any jewels/ores/crystals whatsoever for the KMS 15 day event. Level 10 is a reward for those who have planned ahead. If I include a different time period of 29 days (for the lame event); in my estimation, it would be enough for many people to get the upgraded items, if not, it at least will be Evolution Ring territory when it comes to reward for diligence and time spent. Removing the event provides a disincentive, the Snowdrop items aren't even that great, especially since they are class locked.

This. Chaos has held some excitement for me, as I did get a little stronger, but by far the most exciting part of it was professions, primarily for the DAB ring. How is this at all his fault? DAB was literally the best thing out of professions. 130 weapons are overrated. 140 weapons aren't obtainable. Gallant emblems are a painful time consuming effort. There isn't anything to be excited for anymore.

I spent days farming this sh`it. Days. I was excited to make my god damn ring. Very excited, in fact it was one of the most exciting part of professions for me. I don't care about Imps, I don't care about Shoulderpads which are so god damn common it isn't even fun. I don't care about Smithing and I don't care about alchemist. I simply wanted to make my god damn ring. That's all I wanted. I even planned to spend some NX, just what Nexon wanted, to get my god damn ring. Which I will never get.
Also, for the sake of your misunderstanding, my entire anticipation and excitement for Chaos didn't depend on this ring. Professions main attraction for me was this event, sure I might not care about making other things but there were still some excitement left for it, albeit not much. Another thing you're ignorant about is stating that it's one recipe, when it's in fact two. Not that I care, just pointing it out.

You're kidding right? Tell me you're kidding... First of all. It's not hard to get ores in the first place, secondly it's like saying that it'd be better for the poor players if Ring/accesory events for leveling up the different classes didn't exist, and that instead they should have to find the stuff from mobs... at a rate of 0.01%. It's like saying that the way Hot Time works, it makes it easier for a poor player to get "I'm A Lucky Guy". Oh would you look at that, it's not easier to get I'm a Lucky Guy for poor players, CAUSE THE THING IS TOO RARE FOR ANYONE TO GET IN THE FIRST PLACE. It's not hard at all to get lvl10 Jewel crafting anyways.

im talking about obtaining the DAR reciple, most ppl that didnt collect ores / spent bilions wouldnt have a chance on getting it from event.
Now everyone have equal chances so even with money you wont get it that easy. thats my point.
Why in the world would you need to spend any sort of money on getting ores >.> This information has been out way before ores have stopped dropping. And ores become fairly easy to get post profession. Your point makes no sense.

yes i know since i play this game since 2005 and i also had pretty big ore collection on my old account.
dont forget that some accessories that are lvl 130 require pvp tokens (or whatever they are called, mostly shoulderpads) and you still can make the items at lower lvls of your profesion (tho you risk on failure) , also some of them are not really worth crafting since diff between them may be just 2-3 luk (like on belts ;s)
Yeah, but they still get to determine the prices of the actual crafted versions of all those recipes you found. I mean what's the use of being able to craft a Lucky Royal Pauldron if the first few people who are able to inflate prices to unspeakably high levels? How's that good for poor people anyways whether they had the DAB ring or not. The DAB recipe event at least allowed people a better chance to forge one in the first place, regardless if they were rich or poor

Except for the fact that it only drops from Zakum. Meaning that only one Expedition can go at a time. Meaning that it's totally liable to D/C hack blocking. AGAIN.
You sir, have serious issues if you think that something like a freemarket ([SIZE="1"]psst, that's the way things work now[/SIZE] with the exception of useful tradeable event items) helps the poor player, cause if anything, it really undermines them.

Wow, this thread is ridiculous... literally so blown away that some people think the lack of DAB is a good thing or not a problem. Pretty pissed off. Btw could someone tell me if the face accessory item the jeweler event gives goes in the same slot as the db mask from the Chaos Boom-Up event thingy?
Not really that surprised though, this isn't the first large disappointment with Chaos.
Imo...
1. Mastery books still hard as pomegranate to acquire, drop rates not increased
2. Tons of glitches (no explanation needed)
3. Lack of DAB
I wonder if the exclusive is a new type of gachapon that costs 20k nx per ticket for super shiny ores...

I've pretty much stopped caring, it's just a ring after all. But the amount of people, for lack of a better word, laughing at the people who prepared in the hopes that the event may come is really upsetting. I thought it wasn't right to kick a man when he's down.

Yes, it goes in the same slot, and I wouldn't really bother with it, the only face accessory you can make that's better than a blood mask is the Rising Sun Face Paint (130), or that one that gives +5 atk/matk.
