Team Ready Aim Fire -- Game Thread - Holypie - 2011-06-01 Quote:Finally Netto, having just woke up, decided to check the contents of the pit trap, and saw Holypie in there. He thought, "Ha! We got one!" and shot him one more time just to make sure. Derp. Anyway go Corn and Sarah! The fate of Team Alpha rests on your shoulders! Team Ready Aim Fire -- Game Thread - Mike - 2011-06-01 It's all up to you, Alpha. Get the mission done. No mercy, team! Team Ready Aim Fire -- Game Thread - BlueRuin - 2011-06-01 Shot myself in the leg. *faisepalm*
Team Ready Aim Fire -- Game Thread - Luacake - 2011-06-01 But thanks to end-of-round curative magic, you're still in. Team Ready Aim Fire -- Game Thread - OB3LISK - 2011-06-01 So I can still try to kill corn? Or do I have to kill someone in that same spoiler as me? Team Ready Aim Fire -- Game Thread - Sarah - 2011-06-01 What the pineapple is the respawn queue Team Ready Aim Fire -- Game Thread - Luacake - 2011-06-01 OB3LISK Wrote:So I can still try to kill corn? Or do I have to kill someone in that same spoiler as me? You're dead so you have no action. Sarah Wrote:What the pineapple is the respawn queue Dead people. One person on your team is supposed to respawn when you successfully kill someone, but I think the idea could use some refinement so I think I'll actually hold off on implementing it until next game. For now it's there to take up space. Yes, it was in the rules. Team Ready Aim Fire -- Game Thread - Dual - 2011-06-01 Luacake Wrote:You're dead so you have no action. You could make it so a successful air shot brings someone back to life. That seems like an interesting idea. Team Ready Aim Fire -- Game Thread - OB3LISK - 2011-06-02 Or that someone's action can be to go revive someone. Knowing my luck someone will try to shoot me even though I was dead though *cry*. Fucking Corn and Solarboy killing me. Team Ready Aim Fire -- Game Thread - Sarah - 2011-06-03 Hellloooo? Team Ready Aim Fire -- Game Thread - Luacake - 2011-06-03 Sorry, went to the beach yesterday and was sleeping afterward. Round 2 End
Actions
-- A horn sounded out over the arena. Realizing it was getting late, Corn had packed up his charts and began to follow his planned course of action. He would go reunite with his last remaining teammate. Meanwhile Sarah was stalking through the forest, looking for prey. She knew that they were in here somewhere and was determined to find them. Following the sound of a gunshot she stumbled upon Netto in a small clearing, who seemed to have given up offense for now as he was taking aim at the sky, looking to shoot something to have for dinner. Seizing the opportunity, Sarah quickly shot him down. Netto dead. Alpha: 1 Almost as soon as Netto hit the ground BlueRuin burst out from the trees and began unloading her own gun at Sarah. However at that very instant a dart flew out of the trees and hit Sarah in the shoulder, somehow causing her to jump out of the way of the bullets. BlueRuin attempted to give chase, but, to her own surprise, fell into the very same pit trap that had killed her first attacker. BlueRuin dead. Alpha: 2 Corn, sitting on a nearby branch, lowered his dart gun and congratulated himself on a job well done. GAME OVER -- Team Alpha WINS -- Sooo... once again, comments and suggestions for rule changes/additions to the next game. I feel like these team games are faster than the standard game, maybe because there are fewer people to target so the deaths are more focused. Or maybe it just turned out that way due to luck. Hmm. Team Ready Aim Fire -- Game Thread - Sarah - 2011-06-03 pineapple yeah, Corn! Our plan worked perfectly! We make a great team ![]() We seriously planned for exactly that to happen. Team Ready Aim Fire -- Game Thread - Holypie - 2011-06-03 Go Alpha! Also lol at falling into the same pit trap. Karma hooray. Team Ready Aim Fire -- Game Thread - Corn - 2011-06-03 Sarah Wrote:pineapple yeah, Corn! Our plan worked perfectly! We make a great team Oh wow, everything went as planned . I expected one of us to die though. That was really weird.Netto, you really oughta try shooting yourself once in a while. Only reason decided to target you because you never shot yourself in this game and the last game. I agree that successful shooting in the air should revive a teammate. Team Ready Aim Fire -- Game Thread - BlueRuin - 2011-06-03 Cooooooooooooooool. That was fun. Grats Team Alpha. ^_^ Team Ready Aim Fire -- Game Thread - OB3LISK - 2011-06-04 NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. Omfg I told you Netto I TOLD YOU TO AVENGE ME AND KILL CORNNNNN. Team Ready Aim Fire -- Game Thread - Netto - 2011-06-04 Corn Wrote:Oh wow, everything went as planned But I DO shoot myself ;_; In fact, that's always why I end up dying... Team Ready Aim Fire -- Game Thread - Sarah - 2011-06-10 Okay, so I had an idea for the respawn. We can make a "heal" option. Heal is always successful, even if you are shot. The only way to stop a heal from going through is if someone on the other team shoots the person you are attempting to heal. The person being healed does not get a turn that round. You can protect the person/people in the "medic" role on your team by shooting them. This provides much greater group strategy and allows for a lengthier game. To elaborate on this If I choose Heal -> BlueRuin And she's on my team, she will come back to life, unless someone on the other team chooses to shoot her, expecting me to revive her. If they shoot me, I die, and she still gets revived. If they shoot me, and Corn also chooses to shoot me, it works like any other conflicting shot (I survive). If they shoot a corpse that is not being revived, nothing happens. |
