I hope that is true.
I remember that before BB everyone was rejoicing that Mastery Books will be dropping from normal mobs and everyone can hunt their own, instead of being dependent on bosses monopolized by just a few players.
And yet now... I hear my Paladin and Bowmaster guildies crying, because their books are nowhere to be found. They grind for hours on end on the monsters that presumably drop them, and nothing. (And that's for the books that have "known" mobs... books like Guardian or Achilles seem to come from gach only).
Hopefully the secret mastery books will drop often enough, and yield all mastery books. But knowing Nexon, I fear the worst.

Wednesday, 1PM: Exploit perfected to acquire infinite insignia and/or make the NPC give prizes for other items (arrows?) rather than insignia.
Wednesday-Friday: Exploit used by a few to make NX (through MTS) and real-world money (selling meso to meso-selling sites, etc).
Friday, 11AM: Exploit goes public.
Weekend: Exploit used by every script-kiddie and his sister to amass white scrolls and w/e other goodies and stash on mules, and also make NX and real-world money to the limits of their ingenuity.
Monday, 10AM: Nexon employee logs on to Nexon forums and sees a full screen of "Take the game down NOW for the love of God!"
Monday, 10:05AM: Game down while Nexon debates whether to roll back 4 days (including 8 hours of 2x that were already a compensation for a foul up) or try yet again to punish only the exploiters, with predictable results.
So predictable. So preventable, or at least containable. Think it will be? Keep dreaming.

It's back to normal sadly and you still need to kill after 45 minutes if you enter with less then 6. New kill time is 29:59.
