If Harrison just learns how to properly use Google, there are sites that literally hands you our the Eng patch as well as the DL links for the game. It's not hard. It's a translated game anyways.. so it's easy to find. The non-translated ones.. haha, good luck.

I was replying to Khoi with the game suggestions (as in, "he can get access to VNs without even pirating, you know"), not you.
And VNs are... well, I consider them games. You'll "flip the page" of text, but you'll also see the character's facial expressions and hear background music, etc.

Generally making choices that influence the plot (think "choose your own adventure" books). Some even have things like RPG or SRPG battles.
And, well, there's always dating sims.
