Apparently a fair number of us care; myself included. Quite frankly, throwing away the old meant the players themselves and I've more or less thrown away the game since. If this is the mindset with updates, then what is the point of accomplishing anything knowing it would be "thrown away" for the sake of advancement. On top of card hunting, I "was" a quest king prior to BB. They could have re-added the modified quests rather than resetting everything, but they didn't.
I can understand that the rates before were a tad too harsh: I spent 8 months ZMM hunting myself with no success; but that doesn't mean I wanted to tear down the present system. Also, just because something becomes insanely easy does not mean that everyone has equal footing here. It just makes the discrepancies nearly impossible to spot.
As I stated before, a rate that would nearly guarantee finding a card in 15-30 minutes would be fine, but the way it sounds, it is more like 2 minutes.
I suppose my "old" opinion doesn't really matter much anymore as I have committed to quitting once Chaos hits.
