I don't see any proof in that topic about it not giving passive dodge. There isn't a section in the gui that measures passive dodge, but that doesn't mean it doesn't exist. I had a few friends saying that MT helps them a bit when soloing BGA/BGB. Also you get a bonus of 200-300 wdef/mdef, which is nothing to scoff at.

what do you think? xD

I guess I'll be waiting for chaos if I ever get the urge to make a DB then.

Where am I going to get the mesos to buy all the books, and even then what if some fail? Buying the books was the only option for me, and like I said that's not what I'm complaining about.

Like I said eariler, if you want to play a DB buying them is pretty much the only option. Don't act like I had a choice because I didn't. The only people that have the choice are super funded characters that just buy the mastery books for them. And don't say "well just make a different character then". No. If DB is the only class that I want to play, I'm going to play it.
You and every other person in the game who bought the dualblader books were completely aware of what you were buying. This doesn't give you some bullshit entitlement you seem to think you have to more stuff than what you already bought just because other people can now get them for free.

Are you kidding? That would be an amazing thing for them to do that I would support wholeheartedly, and I certainly wouldn't try denying other people it because I've spent money on it in the past.Hurt

Fius Wrote:Nah, avoid doesn't do anything to even thieves in the current state of GMS. Even with thousands of avoid, I still get hit, say 90% of the time at late 14x. Anywhere. I only have nimble maxed because I was already in 3rd job when we got the free full SP resets, and it's not like triple stab would've been any better.
By the looks of it, Chaos will give us the dodge rate back though. Looking forward to that.

If you have thousands of avoid, you have at least a 25% avoid rate on monsters your level.

ShadyPriest Wrote:There's a lot of free room in what I wrote, and the extra points listed would probably go into nimble body. My point is that with the extra points, it doesn't matter what you do with them. Nimble body is useless (even more so), with the redundancy of accuracy and severe nerf of avoid after BB.

In regards to fourth job, it doesn't really matter what you do after maxing final cut, with the nerfs to thorns and chains. I listed thorns after final cut as a small damage boost that can also help your party, and won't come up as often as MW in parties. Chains makes you more versatile. Maxing it makes it practical to use as DPS, and not just something you would use in dojo. Chains has i-frames which can also act as a sort of stance. It also doesn't KB (more like a stun-KB) so it helps at Pap where you can take advantage of the top platforms and not get stunned/dispelled. MW would be a good idea to put points into sometime after final cut, but I preferred thorns and chains before for the reasons stated.

I made a thread a while ago to figure out what mirrored target does: http://www.southperry.net/showthread.php?t=36273

Other than its use as a puppet, it doesn't do anything other than give (arguably neglectable) passive defence. It does not give passive avoid to your character.

It gives a passive dodge multiplier like Evasion Boost does. You won't see it in your stat screen. If you have 30% chance to dodge with your current Avoid stat, then you have 37.5% total chance to dodge with maxed Mirrored Target.

You obviously still can't fully grasp what I'm saying. I'm tired of explaining myself over and over again. Adios.

This is going to sound horribly stupid, but I didn't max double or triple stab. I rather have nimble body, flash bang, and owl spirit maxed. So if you are planning to take your db past 140, I would suggest toughing it out and wacking the monsters to death.

That is actually the exact opposite of sounding horribly stupid.
