Quick fixes for high-level plight? - Vek - 2011-01-21 Change 24 hour reset times to 23 hours. I'm sick of doing my "dailies" later and later each day. Quick fixes for high-level plight? - Seanny - 2011-01-21 Apply the 50% per party member bonus exp to ALL mobs, not just LHC ones. I recall hearing that LHC mobs HP:EXP ratio isn't even that far off from normal mobs, so implementing to all mobs should not break the game. If anything, makes it so that not the whole population won't completely bottleneck there. Quick fixes for high-level plight? - ShanghaiDizzy - 2011-01-21 I must be one of the few who find no problems with the Big Bang exp, even at late 15x. I've never trained with 4x or 2x before BB and was never really "spoiled" from it perse. However, I find that the majority of the people complaining about the EXP are people who only solo. Learn to party with a Bishop or any other class with an HS mule. It's the old school way of training and it speeds things up quite a bit. Even with my 40 hour work weeks, full time classes, cooking/house chores, I still have enough time to train 50%-80% a day. Sure, it may get a lot worse when I'm in the late 16x to 17x, but even then, it sure beats pounding on Squids like three years ago. The other reason I usually find people not willing to train is that they refuse to train unless they got some kind of exp buff. Until they have it, they would rather just sit around doing nothing, which somewhat evens out the condensed training altogether. However, since this thread's about quick fixes for EXP, here's one: - Make ToT quests repeatable. They give a nice boost to EXP, especially when each one gives around 2 million and up for simply slaying 999 enemies. I'm against this. It would definitely help high leveled players (just those with money to afford it though) but it would also make lvling from 1 to 120 way too easy. Seanny Wrote:Apply the 50% per party member bonus exp to ALL mobs, not just LHC ones. While I agree with this one. Quick fixes for high-level plight? - byakugan - 2011-01-21 Pineapple. Delete this post plz. Quick fixes for high-level plight? - ChaosH - 2011-01-21 Seanny Wrote:Apply the 50% per party member bonus exp to ALL mobs, not just LHC ones. This. Less %exp for lower levels (lvl 10 players really don't need 350% EXP bonus ), but this would help a lot with both training and KSing.

I'm late 15x and I'm hardly getting anything. Quick fixes for high-level plight? - Takebacker - 2011-01-22 Make 2x cards (hunters cards to be more exact) drop from bosses that take longer than 3 minutes to kill. At 154, training at Road of Regrets 3, roughly 18.00% an hour partied with a Battle Mage with an HS Mule. No 1.2x buffs used. At 155, training at Road of Regrets 3, roughly 16.25% an hour partied with a Battle Mage with an HS Mule. No 1.2x buffs used. At 156, training at Road of Regrets 5, roughly 15.50% an hour partied with a Battle Mage with an HS Mule. No 1.2x buffs used. At 157, training at Road of Regrets 5, roughly 14.75% an hour partied with a Battle Mage with an HS Mule. No 1.2x buffs used. We generally ignored Road of Regrets 4 because of the map layout, but we figure out the most optimal map rotations to maximize our training speeds and efficiency. HS Mule is placed in an area where both of us can reach and we rebuff regularly without HS running out. Although I don't get buffs from the Battle Mage, it receives Haste and Maple Warrior from me, which further enhances our training speed altogether. It's nothing compared to 4x Exp buffs, but when you're stuck with 1x, you make what you can of what you will. Cool idea, but I can see these being sold like Bigfoot Toes. Have to make them drop in places lower levels can't go, even with Door or family tele. Only place I can think of is Pap. Pre quests are level 120 now? Plus, only being able to enter twice a day means that no-one can sell very many. (But... we already asked to be allowed in Pap more times a day...) Kinda funny how Pap is now the highest level restricted area in the game, except for Pink Bean. Quick fixes for high-level plight? - Takebacker - 2011-01-22 Pap dropping them leaves a huge amount of leeway for abuse. People afking in paps room without summoning on purpose to possibly take their kill/entrances so they get the cards/the other person doesn't. People afking in paps room without summoning on purpose to possibly take their kill/entrances so they get the cards/the other person doesn't. True. So I suppose it's back to putting them in cash shop with a level limit. There already are cash items with level limit, right? So Nexon don't need to invent a new mechanism, just put a number in there for 2x cards. People could still buy them on a level 150 and transfer to a lower level, provided both are adventurers, but I figure not very many people are currently training adventurers on the same account as a high level adventurer, so the abuse potential is minimal. Quick fixes for high-level plight? - Takebacker - 2011-01-22 Really not seeing the downside to it dropping from bosses harder than zakum. Quick fixes for high-level plight? - cronnoponno - 2011-01-22 In order to administer any 2x with a level limit, it would obviously come in the form of a cash shop equip, kind of like the aura ring. Perhaps they'd go as far to use a whole new slot just for this particular item. That'd be cool, 1.2xp accessories for level 30-120. 1.5 exp accessories for level 120-140. 2x accessories for 140+. But it feels weird, under this logic, it'd seem like 130-139would be much more difficult than 140-145 or so, because of the massive increment to EXP intake, although such is the way of these types of games. Your leveling practically doubles once you get to level 70. Quick fixes for high-level plight? - SaptaZapta - 2011-01-22 Takebacker Wrote:Really not seeing the downside to it dropping from bosses harder than zakum. Zakum itself is level 50 to enter. So people will be selling these cards like they (used to?) sell zhelms and skillbooks, before Karma. HT is level 80, same deal (once the glitch is fixed, anyway). Scar/Targa are level 90 to enter (idk whether you consider them "harder" than zak, but they're higher level). Pianus, Anego, Tengu, Samurai, Toad, Dodo, Lilynouch, Lyka, and whatever other free-spawning bosses you might consider, will all suffer a fate worse than Bigfoot with its toe selling. BGA/BGB/GP don't have a level limit, as far as I know. You just need a Comb. Chaos Zakum is possibly too hard. Not everyone 150+ can fight it. Plus it's usually attacked by parties, with all the drama of loot-order that ensues. Chaos HT is even worse. Rethinking Pap, I'm not so sure I agree about abuse. Is a person able to be present at more than 2 Pap kills a day? I mean, let's say I camp in the room and don't summon. You come in and, not wanting to waste an entry, kill it. I can't loot your stuff because we're not partied. Or maybe I can, not relevant for my question. Now you leave the room. Does the outside door open? Can I stay inside waiting for someone else to fleece? As far as I know, the door won't open until we both leave the room. So I spent/wasted my entry on your kill. Might as well have killed it myself and been sure to have all the loot to myself. Nice thing about Pap is that just about everyone (except maybe bishops and people with really weak gear/stats?) who can enter the room can also solo it. So there is very little motivation to prepare an ambush. However, I just thought of something even simpler and un-abusable. I expect the Hunter's Luck event is still in the data. Nexon never delete anything. They can simply change the beginning and end dates, and the minimum level, and presto: everyone level X (140? 150?) gets 6 untradeable 1/2 hour 2x tickets per week. cronnoponno Wrote:In order to administer any 2x with a level limit, it would obviously come in the form of a cash shop equip, kind of like the aura ring. It's so annoying when people are dumb enough not to mark the portal during peak playing hours, or during 2x events. Quick fixes for high-level plight? - SwordStaker - 2011-01-22 You guys realize NEXON AM probably won't do this right..some of the ideas are good, and others just unreasonable. While adding more times to go in for GMS could be something thats done and changing spawn times are probably all your going to get. Believe it or not theres probably a reason only one person can fight Zakum at a time. Imagine if 100 Zakums were summoned on 1 ch. That could crash the server. I'm sure NEXON would not be opposed to bringing Hunters Luck back. Sometimes the players aren't ALWAYS right. Instead of complaining on how hard it is to level just level. You spend more time complaining than you do leveling. I'm just fooling around on my Evan and I've already gotten 3 levels on him post bb(he's 14x btw) and I never even did hard core training yet cept for RIGHT after bb. The only thing I agree this list is this: -Less spawn time -More times for entry -Make ToT quests repeatable (adding my own)-Don't require a party to enter Neo City. Someof the bosses drop my mastery books and I wanna get them>.> Quick fixes for high-level plight? - CarrionCrow - 2011-01-22 SwordStaker Wrote:Believe it or not theres probably a reason only one person can fight Zakum at a time.
