I think Nexon will most likely release each new class over powered and then nerf it later. It makes sense to do this. It helps push people to create new main characters and in turn drive new nx sales.

It's just Nexon's strategy. A strategy every company has to make money.

Would ppl begin a new class when they know beforehand it sux balls? No way! Resulting in less NX sales (CS inventory is not shared remember?).

It's just a way of keeping Maplestory profitable, I can't blame them for that.

What I DO blame them for is, not having:
- Time Temple minidungeons
- Lionheart Castle minidungeons
- Pianus entrance system (same like Papulatus, this works great)
- MOAR medium bosses like Papulatus / Pianus, really, we need a LOT more of those... 10 or 20 more please...

Everyone knows Mechanics are overpowered. Hime is just trying to downplay how broken they are. She is a GM per say, but her presence in the game is possibly one of the lowest ratios for all the GMs at Nexon. In short, if she's in the game on her GM character, GMSKazaHime, either someone called in sick or something really got F-ed up, but she is the most seldom seen GM as she is mostly the official forum administrator, if she really can be called that.

Releasing OP new content and nerfing it later is common practice and not just limted to Nexon. For example, about 80% of the most recent heroes in DotA were significantly overpowered in the version that they came out and they have been steadily nerfed since. It's a simple and effective strategy to increase interest in new content.

Yeah. That's what I've been saying from the start. I completely agree with you on that, and I think it's just a business plan of them.
