Western comics tend to have a LOT less pages per issue, so make up with it by having colors and stuffing words everywhere.
But, you're kinda wrong in that too because there are plenty of manga packed with dialogue to read, especially if their target demographic isn't young.
Either way, it's a webcomic anyway. I felt there were people on this forum that could relate to it.
