While people here may "favor" anime or video game music, that's because, well, it's what they like. And the point of this is to spread music you like to others, so... yeah.

a) The proposal was partly the opposite of what you said, BTA. The idea was lyrics could only be in English, not lyrics could be anything BUT English.
b) Yeah, I think we're going no-restrictions on this one anyway. Jon has it right.

Also, to address Holypie: I still think that's too restrictive. I'm hesitant to impose ANY restrictions at all, really, but I think the language thing is much less of a major restriction that no lyrics or only one genre. The idea of this is that you submit music you like, not that you submit music you think will win. I mean, if you have 5 of your favorite songs to choose from, by all means pick the ones you think other people will like more. Just don't compromise your own tastes to accommodate others; that defeats the point of this contest.
