They seriously need to stop doing this. Jesus will come again whenever the bloody hell he wants to; it's not something we can predict. I'm proud that these people are this zealous about their faith, but all they're going to do is get disappointed or get other people disappointed if their prediction turns out wrong *points to the Seventh Day Adventist thing*. This is all gonna reflect pretty badly on Christianity, honestly.

I wonder if anyone in a group like this ever made a 180-turn in life after realizing their respective Earth-shattering event didn't happen. They suddenly became a rational skeptic. That would make me laugh. Like the folks who break loose from Scientology probably aren't much for Thetans after that, but do former Mormons generally stop believing in just the tenets that separate Mormonism from the rest of Christianity or do they usually go full-out agnostic/atheist/nontheist?
