Thought it was a pretty terrible movie. The plot was gross. There was never a point where I was surprised at what happened, and the movie practically told me everything that was going to happen at the end.

When Quorra said something like, "One created the other. If they both merged, that means one would destroy the other."

From that I heard, "But at the end of the movie they are going to merge and kill each other!"

When Quorra said something like, "Can you tell me what a sunset looks like?"

From that I heard, "I'm going to see a sunset at the end of the movie."

When Flynn said, "TRON, what have you turned into?"

From that I heard, "TRON is going to switch sides and knock out CLU in a completely unmotivated and ass-backwards way."

When Quorra said to Sam, "The person you meet will take you straight to Zeus", and then I saw an utterly flamboyant person in the bar, I knew he was Zeus off the bat.

And there were so MANY PLOTHOLES OMG. Like at the end, what the hell was up with FLYNN exuding that Aura to pull CLU away from the portal? Where the hell did he get those powers? Yes, he is a user, but that is never, ever explained that he has powers like that. Also, there was a lot of expository dialogue that really didn't fit in with the movie. Everything in the movie was fine until Sam reached FLYNN's abode.

Also, CLU wanted his army to be released into the world so he could purge it of imperfections, but he was already able to affect the real world by sending out a page to Sam. Why couldn't CLU use his computer knowledge to figure out who people are, which is very common in this day and age, and then use his computer powers to purge the real world? If he can already affect the real world with a page from a non-existant phone line, surely he can infect computer networks and purge the world that way.

Whatever happened to surprises in a movie? This was avatar again. I felt insulted by the movie for going. But OOOOO PRETTY.

[color="#cc8899"]Idk, I thoroughly enjoyed it. The plotline was predictable, but then it's really hard for me to criticize on that when it was presented in such a compelling way. The dialogue, yes, I had issues with at times, but I took what felt awkward and generally just sucked it up as "They're computer programs, whatever" or "He's been living in a computer for a few centuries, he's allowed to be a bit off"

Zeus was pretty cool, if expected. I laughed so much that he looks a lot like Julian Assange though.

Overall, lots of mirroring of biblical stuff, which is understandable, given the role Users have within the Grid.

Loved every minute of it, even the cheesey and predictable parts. [/COLOR]

The whole movie was basically about Flynn getting his son Sam laid with a girl from inside a computer.

^^^^Right there is a huge fucking hint at what the next movie will be about. I expect it to take place in the future or something, and involve their crazy genetic cocktail of a kid/s.

Just saw it last night and disliked it.
- The $6 extra I had to pay for 3d was not worth it (nothing outside of Avatar quality 3d is worth that extra $6 IMO).
- CGI gets an expected/10, now a days I'm no longer impressed with what people can create with computers and T.L. didn't make any revolutionary effects.
- Music was about the only redeemable thing within the movie, though i generally am appalled by techno driven fight scenes, it works here due to the contents of the movie.
- Hated how they took a gigantic dump on some of the old aspects of there predecessor

- Hated Zeus... pretty much turned out to be like the new generation of Willy Wonka minus the Johny Deep charm
- Acting and writing were terrible. The main protagonist was your stereotypical cookie cut out "young and dumb" hero. There's no character development unless you consider how one guy "changes" sides near the end. The plot of bad guy is raising an army and wants to take over the world and a small group of rebels must stop them has been done so many damn times before, and TL doesn't exactly revolutionize it. I also hated the fact that damn near EVERY plot twist was reviled in the trailers.
- The hero isn't even that much of a hero, he's about a Carlton(fresh prince of Bel Air) on the badass-o-meter (but at least Carlton can dance)

I might sound a little to harsh but due to the fact the original was just so great and the fact you're basically going to pay X amount of money to see another CGsh*tfest REALLY pisses me off.

I saw it. The only part that I enjoyed was the part with Zeus. Oh, also, how the HELL do lasers jam. That is NOT how they work.

I saw this movie yesterday evening. It was ok.

I usually don't care about the story in movies much. Good story is just a bonus for me. That's why I like the Transformers movies while everyone else loathes them.
